  1. HOLY DRIVESHAFT

Yeah spicer solid 1350’s. Greaseable joints have a time and place and in that rear ain’t one of em šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚. guy in the shop said it could have just been crap luck. Or whoever assembled that CV could’ve been having an off day and just didn’t put enough grease in there. It’s spit it at 42,000 miles.

    Under a grand!
  3. HOLY DRIVESHAFT

So pretty cool. Talked to them today. Ordered a front shaft. Will post pics when that is ready! Talked to the guys there. Factory aluminum stuff is .065 wall tubing. They showed me from ford. It gets some cardboard glued inside the tube to make it not sound like a tin can. The stuff they use is...
  4. HOLY DRIVESHAFT

Yep! Axle exchange. Father son business. Super nice I paid cash so I definitely got a little bit of a deal. I do know the aluminum is 6061 and the ends are 7078. Gotta say pretty impressive for it being hand welded. I’ll snap a close up photo tomorrow. Too cold to go out to the garage tonight šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

  6. HOLY DRIVESHAFT

Yes sorry. This one’s for my bronco. I have a 2010 f150 that I spit the driveshaft out of pretending I was Ken block. Had to get a new one for that truck also
  7. HOLY DRIVESHAFT

Right! Almost too nice to go under the truck. Theyre the same guys who did the one in my raptor
  8. HOLY DRIVESHAFT

Had some funny noises and vibrations coming thru my driveline at higher speeds. Almost like a metal on metal. Wound up pulling my driveshaft out and saw the one cv took a šŸ’©. Appears some of the ball bearings inside the diff side decided they didn’t want to be in the cage anymore. Was never a fan...
