Hey, Thanks much!
All of the fastened down stuff is solid. My wife and I don't take this stuff off even for daily driving, going to the supermarket and mall. The tires have been pretty stuffed in the fenders and have never once rubbed. It's a very good and solid setup! Since we set this up...

This vehicle is a one owner vehicle in great shape. Looks and drives as great.
We started to set this up for overlanding earlier this year using...
I did not. The Dutch Star hitch is level with the Badsquatch bumper when the air suspension is at ride height.
You hitch looks really low. We're you lowered on your suspension in that picture?
Sorry to bump this from the past, but special thanks to BigMeatsBronco for coming up with this idea for the 48" Hi-Lift jack. One thing I didn't see mentioned was that you do need to drill a hole in the top of the jack head, as there is no hole there from Hi-Lift. Simple though.
Looking at the pictures, there is evidence of tapping the hole in shavings just underneath each mounting point. It would be a M10 1.5 pitch tap, and you'd need a right angle attachment, unless you want to remove the top to tap the hole (assuming the jack fits with the hardtop installed).

I've seen another thread that mentioned this particular product, but I purchased the Yakima Awning, marketed by Ford. It fits the cross bars on the factory rack with no issues at all. It is a very stout connection. https://accessories.ford.com/yakima-awning-1
The few times I've used it, it was...
I've completed my install with a relocated control module, similar to what is explained in this thread.
I found that even with the relocated control unit and plastic intercooler shroud removed (I had it on my Badlands), when you have the remote control cord plugged in, it would rub against the...
With the relocated control head unit, and the plastic shroud removed, there is almost no room to plug the cord for the remote in into the control head unit.
I wound up buying an extension cable and used a Dremel to cut the housing off of the cord housing, to make it the equivalent of a right...
First, thanks again for the great pictures. I did this install this weekend. I got stuck after mounting the control in the exact location you've done it. How did you handle plugging in the wired control, as the socket faces the intercooler fairly close and of you plug in the cable, the cord is...
I used the Brakemaster setup. It definitely works.
Just sold my bus, so looking at converting to overlanding now.
Feel sad, because we had flat towing completely down.
