I hear ya. $5k was a hard pill to swallow, especially after my dealer hinted that the cost would be much lower when hardtops became available. Still, I was able to sell my soft top for $1000. Plus, I live in a state with no sales tax. It was worth it just so I don’t have to look at those saggy...

This is also a common issue. Mine does it fairly regularly. I believe there is a related TSB and the fix is to replace the switch. I’ll bring it up next time I’m at the dealer.

Same thing happened to me. I picked up my new top on Friday. If your order was confirmed, it’s coming. Took about two weeks for mine.

Ok, hear me out. Today I saw a 4dr with the hardtop panels over the front and rear seat but without the cap on the back. I know Ford warns against doing that. BUT, I thought it would be interesting if someone designed a bulkhead behind the rear seats that allowed you to attach the roof panels so...

Yup, I can't lie... I've had my eye on the Ranger Raptor. It just seems like a much better value than the Bronco Raptor (and it's a smidge quicker). It would also make a better overlanding rig than my Bronco (which I still love).

I installed mine in January and was pleased with the results. They market it more for temperature insulation rather than sound insulation, but there was a noticeable difference in sound level with it on. It also improves the look of the top inside. One caution though: the plastic brackets...

What a weird thing to take a stand against. It really doesn’t affect you at all. It’s not like you have to unlock the door to get out.

I had planned on getting one from Turn Off-road but orders now aren’t slated for delivery until November. Fortunately, I was just able to order an OEM hardtop from Ford with delivery scheduled next week.
