I mounted an Infinity powered sub to the tailgate. Backed it with Dynamat and still get rattling from the plastic trim piece where the wires come in from the back and the handle on the outside of the tailgate.
For those who have mounted a sub on the tailgate, any pointers on getting rid of vibration? Iāve got a pretty nasty rattle going on at higher volumes and itās getting worse. I have a layer of dynamat between the sub and the tailgate and itās well secured. Best I can tell is the rattle is coming...
Iām going to assume he did it to see if others are having the same problem to see if it is an issue with his set or a design flaw. Based on the majority of responses here, Iād say most feel the same way.

I heard back from the company yesterday and theyāre sending me a replacement. When I asked them, they said that the early batch had an issue with cold temps. The new one shouldnāt have the same issue. Not happy that Iāll need to crack open the control panel again, but oh well.
