Yep thats correct. Its the way the system works. Totally sucks. The only was recirc will stay on is in MAX AC mode. Otherwise the system decides which in my case is always off so I get to choke down car fumes and CA smoke in the summer. My other car (not Ford) does the same damn thing. I think...
