I agree. Even though parts are available, everyone including Caterpillar (who I work for) dealerships buy re-manufactured or new. We used to rebuild them here all the time. If the impeller didnāt contact the housing long enough to damage either, itās just replacing bearings and seals on the shaft.
Surely you leave your rear camera on when towing. ? I actually leave the rear microphone on when I first drive off to listen for odd noises. Caught a safety chain that had come loose one time and my Jeep Gladiator parking brake had automatically set another.
I wouldnāt let that stop you. The rock rails are easily cut at the ends. You simply take the plastic end cap out, cut whatever length you want off (preferably at the same angle), and then put the cap back in. I did it so my mud flaps wouldnāt hit my 37ā tires.
Explain what plunge is for clarity to the masses please. And on the other thread also. And what can happen if there is too much plunge. I get it but some might not.
Yes, The last time I rotated tires the truck wouldnāt re-learn their location. Had to buy a tool. Two previous times it learned it in a few minutes of driving. Not sure if one of the stupid Ford updates caused this or what. But this worked.

I wonder how many āsyntheticā oil changes are done with regular oil? I mean how do you know exactly what oil they are really using? I change my own.
I was taking my company truck (F650) to the local Ford dealer for oil changes and one time (after many oil changes) decided to check the...
I ordered all the bags when I ordered our Bronco. But rarely use the (very expensive) mid panel bag. The door bags are awesome because you put them on the doors before removing them which provides handles to grab and lots of protection while removing and installing.
Itās a surge tank. All that really matters is itās not so high that it over-flows when hot and not so low that it allows air in the system when it gets cold. The level in the tank being a little higher or lower wonāt affect cooling one bit. But I would add a tad bit of coolant just because...
They have improved the seals and added sound deadening. My ā24 hard top is quiet.
The early factory hard tops had seal fitment issues and wind noise. Turn Off-road has a nice hard top available. Every now and then we see a used hard top for sale here.
Someone please name one circumstance where the 300+ hp 2.3 in a bronco is not plenty of power for anything anyone would want to do? One of our members here even entered Baja 1000 last year and finished 1st in class He chose a 2.3 for a reason, he didnāt need the V6.. 2.3 is lighter uses less...
The point is, it has plenty of power for what it is designed for. I off-road with mine and rock crawl with it and it does not need more power than what it has and it is fun to drive both on and off road. Even with 37ās. And still gets 18mpg.
do I wish I had a V8 instead? sure! A normally...
V8 AWD Explorer, V10 4WD Excursion, V6 Gladiator. My 2.3 Bronco will smoke any of them in a drag race. Iām not sure what 2.3 bronco you drove, but it obviously wasnāt running on 93 fuel or in sport mode which both completely wake up the engine..308 hp is nothing to sneeze at.
Yes, Iāve driven...
