I currently work as a Div quality manager as a big three supplier. The lack of poka-yoke & error proofing like part scanning is intense. Was heated as the dealership kept feeding me random bs as to why my unit could not be aligned within the specs. My wife & I found it putting it up on a lift.
I had the same issue. Looks like it threw off my alignment as well. My Driver side sat slightly higher than my passenger, but you didn't notice if you were actually sitting in the driver seat. The spring location is the biggest giveaway.
Had this happen twice while wheeling. Issue for me is one or two GOAT modes automatically disconnects it. Then while crawling up a hill that is muddy/snowy the wheel spin makes it bug out. Then I get the service warning. Both times shutting it down & restarting made it disappear.
