  1. Stock WT Tire Rub

Thank you, all, for the responses. I went ahead and bought the carfax on the Bronco - it is a WT from the factory. I still don't know what those bars are but I'm passing on the truck. My son, who was also car shopping yesterday, road with the salesman in it after I left. He said when the guy...
  2. Stock WT Tire Rub

Ok so the bars are on both sides. Look considerably newer than everything else underneath - cleaner. Maybe mounting brackets for rock slider or a step. It has RC steps now but maybe something else before. Also it has WT hood decals and evidence of the rocker panel WT decals being removed. Likely...
  3. Stock WT Tire Rub

I’ll try to get pics tomorrow. Thanks for the responses.
  4. Stock WT Tire Rub

I was looking at a stock WT today and liked it on the test drive. my wife drove it back to the dealer and while getting ready to back into the space we felt tire rub. I got out to look at the clearance. Left side is rubbing on the rear crash bar. The truck has GY Territory 315/70R17 tires on...
  5. [Giveaway] Win with your friend! Tozalazz dual air compressor

My favorite trail is Mosquito Pass in CO. I'd give @hemiblas the second one.
  6. Seconds thoughts (remorse) about my Badlands

I really wanted the Bronco but burned out on the experience with Ford (reserved Feb 2021, ordered multiple times, didn't look like I would get it before 2024). I took a hard look at my use case and decided, as much as I wanted the Bronco, to go with something else. So I bought a Ranger...
  7. P0300 & P0301

I had P0301 on my Ram 1500 last year. I thought it was plugs because the truck was at 200K miles. Nope. Service shop thought it was fuel injector so they swapped 2 of them. Nope. Eventually they determined a flat spot on the cam was preventing the lifter from fully opening. It's a process to...
  8. 2023 Granger Allocation

I think you're just messing with me. I'm a February 2021 reservation and March 2021 order. Last time I checked I was in the low 800s with Granger.
  9. Long Trip without Top - Would you or Would you Not

Seconded. I've lost a lot and am doing what I can to preserve the rest.
  10. Badlands vs. Wildtrak

If you're not going to rock crawl regularly, the BL is probably overkill. You can get the WT and manually disconnect the sway bar if needed. I have bounced all over on my build. Started OBX, shifted to WT (I'm one of the few that likes the topo cloth seats), but will reorder as a BL. The WT has...
  11. New Swag from Ford -- Weather Resistant Playing Cards

Did you move after making your reservation? Some people have had to update their address with the marketing company (don't remember name or how to do it). The swag is cheap and not worth anything. The only one I still have, other than the trucker hat from the "meet the bronco" event, is the flag.
  12. Ok, so is naming your bronco a "thing"?

My wife named her current cars. Eddie is the Bronco Sport, the princess is the Corvette. She did it just so I know where to park in the driveway. "I'm taking the princess out in the morning" means I park on the right side of the driveway to minimize musical cars. I refer to the Bronco I will...
  13. GooLoo Jump Starters

I keep this one in my truck. It holds a charge well (I charge it up about every 6 weeks). I've used it on a small commuter car and on my 5.7L truck. No issues.
  14. Bang for the Buck? (OBX SAS vs Badlands non-SAS)

Last night I ran into a guy with a BL Sas and we spent about 20 minutes walking around and talking about his Bronco. Get the SAS. It just looks right on the 4 door. There are a couple of 4 door non-Sas near my home and they just don't look right when you see the Sas package.
