I thought they weren’t in business anymore. I’m not sure you will get much help with an ADV product here considering how much they screwed over Bronco owners.
I took it to AutoZone because that is the closest and free. I know it must be charging but how do I know it’s not overcharging or something else wrong with it other than just the battery starting to go bad but still good enough to test ok?
So I have a problem a lot of people might like. Auto start stop hasn’t been working the last few days for me. It says due to vehicle charging. I had my battery and alternator tested and was told they were both good so what could be causing this?
From what I’ve seen they are all of similar quality so that is why I never put them on my Bronco but I also haven’t looked at any new ones in a while.
I was going to get them when I first got my Bronco but held off for a bit. Then I started seeing lots of reports of them failing. People might say they were still able to get new ones but it seemed like that was after social media pressure rather than standing behind the product.
I’ve seen many ads for this and it seems like if it was legit Ford would have already done it since they would greatly benefit from that much of an mpg gain.
I just saw your other post. I can’t speak for other people but for me at $4k I would pass and get a Turn hard top that has a warranty rather than buy an OEM and have to deal with the issues on the MIC top.
Where are you and how much are you asking for it? If you aren’t getting interest you are probably asking too much for a MIC top. Many people would probably buy an aftermarket one if you are asking more than $4k for it.
