Well see what happens when i get it flexed out. From reading the 74W portal thread and seeing what all those guys tried and their experiences, I fully expect some rubbing and some new projects to resolve that.
Tire poke is 3.5" front and 3" rear.
Vertical tire and fender gap doesnt say much as it will all depend on where you have your suspension set at but im right about 8.5" front and 9.5" back.
Thank you! Leagues behind your rides but coming along.
Outside of tread to outside of tread is about 85.5". Outer side wall to side wall is probably about 87.5 with eye balling.
For whatever reason Turn syas they dont recommend any higher positive offset than +30. The only deciding factor...
She's done! So far drives amazing. Went with Method 709HD 25mm offset and 40x13.5x17 Yokohama Geolandars. Loved the same tire in 37's and they are surprisingly light.
Coming along nicely. Smooth install so far and they look great. Portals will be done tomorrow but decided last minute to go with new wheels so will be a couple days waiting for wheels to come in.
Let's at least keep in mind those broken CV's were heavily influenced by their driver with bad throttle control lol no offense to her as shes new and learning like we all do. She got more balls than I do ill say that.
I do wish they would have gone with a higher reduction.
Definitely a concern I've had for sure. I dont beat on my rig near as hard as they've been beating on the Turn rigs as well as the other testers so *fingers crossed*
Turn Offroad has had their own tie rods for a long time now, still has nothing to do with the portals. The portals cam be used with either HOSS 2.0 or 3.0. Yes, it is on the end user to take the risk on their steering components and decide what to upgrade or what not to upgrade.
Like I've...
