  1. Bronco EV reportedly on hold until early next decade (⚠️ ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS)

Hmm, interesting. The reason I have a moar door is because I use that space for hauling and what not. I'll have to get a good look at the inside of a 4xe to get an idea of how much space it takes up.
  2. Bronco EV reportedly on hold until early next decade (⚠️ ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS)

So meaning you think a PHEV might be in the works for not too distant future and EVs are further off? If so, I'm going to hold off for a hopeful PHEV next year or two. With right tool for the job, I only live about 5 minutes from where I work (can't work from home at this time) and I'd love to...
  3. Bronco EV reportedly on hold until early next decade (⚠️ ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS)

Didn't read all the way through this thread, but is it assumed this includes a PHEV? I am interested in one for sure (though I do love my FE). If I knew I was waiting a few years for it, I'd try to grab a Heritage, but I don't want to do that if I'm just going to turn around and get a PHEV in a...
  4. Auto Start / Stop - how to permanently disable?

Same. Installed this way over a year ago with no issues at all. I had originally gotten the one you put behind the button, but sold it to someone and got this one instead (the one that plugs in above the dead pedal).
  5. What did you buy for your Bronco today? 🤑🛍️🛒

I love the seatback protectors. I use my Bronco to haul stuff around all the time, and those are great. Just got a hard top lift/storage and the Trektop. I have much putting together/installing to do soon.
  6. What color shackles on a Cactus Grey?

Black. I bought my Bronco used and it had white ones on it. I'm just leaving them, but I don't like the way shackles look when they stand out (matching other colors on the bronco or not). jmo. You do you.
  7. Bronco Badlands or Jeep Gladiator for Flat Towing?

Yep, I've gotten close to pulling the trigger on getting a gladiator a few times. I'm not quite at the retirement exploring phase yet, so I haven't done it. If I was going into that phase now, I'd personally go with a gladiator myself. Good offroad, not too large, top comes off, can flat tow...
  8. Bronco Badlands or Jeep Gladiator for Flat Towing?

I'd go with the gladiator. Grab a cap if you can and you'll have a ton of extra hauling space for things if needed. I'm not sure about the availability, but I always liked how the cap A.R.E. makes looks on the gladiator. It almost gives it the overall silhouette of the late 90s/early 00s 4runners.
  9. Recovery gear for sand/beach driving

Love it. I'll be looking for your Bronco when I'm there!. Thanks everyone for the info in the thread. I found a kit or two I like. I'll likely get one of those and then supplement with the other things in this thread that people mentioned.
  10. Recovery gear for sand/beach driving

That is interesting. I've been kicking around the idea of a winch since there are a few off road areas near me and I wanted to start checking them out.
  11. Are dealers still selling at MSRP?

PA looks to be about 1 to 3k under msrp in general. I am seeing a Raptor that they are asking 10k over on. We'll see if they get it.
  12. Recovery gear for sand/beach driving

That's pretty much what's on the list. Any all in one kit works (my main question)? If not, I'll just get the things separately. I'm guessing either below link or just some plywood would work ok for a jack support...
  13. Recovery gear for sand/beach driving

I'm heading to Outer Banks/Hatteras this summer and making the drive in my Bronco. I'm going to find some time to drive on the beach toward Hatteras. I need to get some recovery gear, both for safety and because they require it (as they do elsewhere I could see myself going, like Assateague)...
  14. Sirius XM sounds WAY better than radio!

XM seems to have gotten better. A few years ago I remember certain channels/songs that sounded very tinny. Like it was being broadcast through a sewer pipe. That seems to have improved. I like it and pay for it. I listen to it when I drive, most days at work, and all evening Friday and...
  15. Should I get another Bronco?

I second this. I want a soft top and was thinking of looking into trading my FE in on a heritage with dual tops. However, I decided to just get the trek top and wait for the refresh.
