  1. Ford offering Navigation after trial - is it worth it?

Yep, that makes perfect sense! I don’t know when the change was… but I had a few Jeeps and GM’s that needed a CD or USB purchased every year to get the updates and they were generally $250-300 yearly. Replaced them with a Garmin Navigation system with lifetime updates. The Garmin's easily...
  2. Ford offering Navigation after trial - is it worth it?

    https://www.ford.com/support/how-tos/ford-technology/navigation/how-much-does-a-sync-4a-or-sync-4-navigation-subscription-cost/?srsltid=AfmBOooQH2NoPQa0k-ChGyDOkxm0PQCT3HdDR3pmjnSY_vySGw4leKB2 web site shows $80, think I paid $80 too… $80-100 both long ways off $2000.
  3. Ford offering Navigation after trial - is it worth it?

What year? The nav system in newer Sync 4, and I think Sync 3 just need the subscription to remain updated. It’s only about $80 yearly subscription for the full navigation system.
  4. Bronco Raptor Spark Plug help

That’s a great price for them. For the 6 or 7… I’ve found the 6 temp a lot less. edit- looked it up, on Rockauto, I found the 90495, it’s a 6 temp. That’s a normal price for the LTR6BHX https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/ford,2025,bronco,3.0l+v6+turbocharged,3458512,ignition,spark+plug,7212...
  5. Bronco Raptor Spark Plug help

Add to old post… The NGK Website is beating most on price. I ordered 12 to get the additional discount. For 12x NGK 95605 LTR7BHX Ruthenium HX. Qty: 1-11 @ $13.50, 12+ @ $12.15. 12 for $146. https://www.ngk.com/ngk-95605-ltr7bhx-ruthenium-hx-plug
  6. Is having a Larger Center Bore on a wheel that big of an issue?

Hub centric vs Lug centric… if lug wells (seats) on the wheel help center lug (tapered dish seat) and if usage on the light side… lug centric have no issues. Hub centric always preferred to distribute the weight. If hitting wheels harder: off road jumping or rocks then hub centric would be...
  7. 4 car pile up: Bronco vs. GMC Sierra and two others

From the GMC’s Ft End, more specifically the Ft Bumper area… I’d say your trailer hitch took the brunt of the energy. Spare tire gave a good defense in displacing energy back to his grill and roof, I’d look at the hitch and lower frame section for any bends. Were brakes On or Off… your forward...
  8. Ford offering Navigation after trial - is it worth it?

Looks like I'm one of the few for the Navigation. Yes, I use it in both my BRaptor and F450... and previously in other vehicles. Previously the OEM Navigation systems got out dated and poor navigation. For the added benefit, I feel the cost is minimal. As an old guy, I like the new technology...
  9. What Made You Fall in Love With Off-Roading?

Ha!! As a Young Midwestern Pup, sitting on floor watching B&W TV. I enjoyed Roy Roger's side kick Pat driving NellyBelle... that led to the Rat Patrol and all the War shows with Jeeps. The Jeep was the driving force in all these shows. Grew up wanting a Jeep... first rig was a new '74 CJ4 w...
  10. Max1h build

I like the looks of the Rig... Nice Build! I personally always am more fond to retain OEM Wheels when possible; may change size between model options but OEM always seems to work great and easiest to obtain used spares if one gets damaged vs buying another new aftermarket. I changed from...
  11. Upgraded Bronco Raptor Bump Stops (3D Printed)!!

All 3 above posts were informative and helpful in gaining a better understanding of the Bump-stops. Have a much better understanding of the manufacturer, materials and product now… Thanks! These do sound like a great alternative for Street to Aggressive Recreational usage! My use is street to...
  12. Upgraded Bronco Raptor Bump Stops (3D Printed)!!

You’re a step in ft of me. I did go to website and saw the hollow valve compression… Little bitty holes! I wonder how snow & ice will work with the little holes? Looks like a good design, much better than OEM for function… durability would be my main question for the 3D material.
  13. Upgraded Bronco Raptor Bump Stops (3D Printed)!!

Interesting, with being 3D Printed. What is material, and will it endure multiple compressions and cold Winters? I wasn’t aware 3D printing could use compressible material.
  14. 2026 Braptor Oil Drain Plug Advice……. Thanks.

Another vote for Ronin as best plug option. Nice Setup! The extraction method with Topside Oil Filter does make sense… no reason to get under for either plug or filter… and time to remove panel. Other than time to inspect undercarriage, engine etc. May purchase an extractor and do lower oil...
  15. Max1h build

I’m definitely not a Rock climber / trails… but can fully appreciate the custom build you’ve done! Great components and ideas… very well thought out build! Very interested in seeing what you develop for 4 link rear.
