My wife and I are going and both driving this coming Friday. I agree the guest driver fee is too steep, but we did it with the recent $300 discount and its one of those experience things. I think the wife would have been just fine at a spa day while I went playing in the dirt, but I want her...
Congrats on the new Bronco, fellow Texan! I picked up my lightly used '24 a couple months ago, trading in my '17 GT350. I have previously been to the Bronco Off-Roadeo in Horseshoe Bay, and am booked to do the Raptor version in June!
Oh, and since we are posting dog photos:
So I see there is a VIN specific rebate for 2023 Raptors in addition to the $6000 off right now. Is there any way to check if a VIN qualifies?
Also, does the "$5000 - Built For Growth AXZD-Plan Customer Cash" stack as well? I assume that is an additional rebate for Plan customers.
To be fair, Ford has been practically giving the Lightning and Mach-E away lately with rebates and price reductions. They *should* be doing numbers. If they did same on Bronco I think sales would also rebound.
I would really watch some of these dealers. I have seen at least a couple that when you look at the detailed pricing, they are including the $1000 Bronco rebate in their price that according to Ford does NOT apply to Raptor. "Honest mistake" to get you in the door IMO.
This was a good video and I agree with a lot of what he says. What he says about a government program - I wonder if this could be a Cash For Clunkers 2.0?
But when the MSRP went up, I assume the invoice cost did too - so while Ford is going to get theirs, the dealer is left holding something it can't sell at these prices.
Also I have to think the knock-on effect to 2024 unit pricing will be substantial.
