For sure! I’ve wheeled the Bronco hard for almost 4 years no issues with the front running Nitto 37s (heavy tire) but I also kept my lift and the angles on CVs etc inline for the most part. I do have a hoss 3 steering rack w, billet housing and good throttle control so we've been solid up front...
Always appreciate your feedback. And thanks again for the killer spotting on Plan B we had a blast.
I think I may stay with the M220 seeing as I can replace it 3 times before I hit the cost of the D60 snd U44 setup.
Long story short my rear M220 4.70 has a bad leak replaced the seals etc but still leaking. I think it's due to the pumpkin potentially flexing or I have a porous weld. FYI I welded the tubes a few years ago without properly heating up... and have wheeled pretty hard over 1000s of miles. So my...
Exactly the info I was seeking. Thanks for that and for your offer to help. I am watching your build of course and that alone has been helpful. Right now I am thinking of just pulling my diff and having a shop that knows what they are doing grind the bad tube welds off and reweld. I'm still on...
Thanks for sharing! I am fixing my bad tube weld on the rear end (slow leak from porous welds after two years), so while it's at the shop, I'm considering the RK Kit. Already running Icon Stage 8 billet setup with up-travel limiters and Nitto 37s, tons of flex and already stuffing my rear tire...
Great post! Been waiting for them to finally make a set for the Bronco and happy to see they did. I'm with you on the stock spongy brakes so I am considering these for sure but damn the price tag on this HP boosting A$$ and Ti**y sticker is insane! I mean if and when I need to stop I guess you...
Alright, forgive the dealer rant here, but I wanted to circle back to this thread and share where things stand in case it helps someone else dealing with something similar.
This issue has been dragging on for months. I’ve been to two different dealers, and neither has been able to fully figure...
Have had this same issue ongoing for months. I've been to two dealers, and they still can't figure it out. It is not the blowoff valve itself because I replaced it, just to be sure. One dealer saying I caused it by attaching my compressor wiring to the factory wiring whihc they say "MAY have...
Context: I have a 2022 Squatch Badlands equipped with an Icon Stage 8 kit and 37-inch tires, so I believe 4.88 gears would suffice, as I have no plans to switch to larger tires or a wider stance/overall width.
I do lots of rock crawling and high-speed desert stuff. Think Sand Hallow crawling...
Nice build! How are you liking the Ultimate Dana 60? My one reservation with that outside of cost is weight. Also did you go 5.38 to roll 40s I assume? I have 37s so thinking 4.88 would suffice if I went this direction. And also what locker did you go with? Appreciate the info. Thanks!
Was a great time as always Scott! Great hanging with you again and Baja is incredible. To those asking why pay to go with EXO? I'm with you Scott, having the security of the Chase trucks and EVERYTHING taken care of for you is a luxury and all I need to do is drive and have fun. Roll up after...
