Hey all, I just took my rig to ford and they confirmed my driver side door actuator is going out. I’m not interested in paying $500 for the part plus labor for a total of $1400 for a fix.. is there somewhere I can order an after market piece and I’ll just install it my self. Thanks!

Not unless I drilled into the tent frame. It’s an older smittybilt hardtop so it doesn’t have any extra mounting points that I can see

I’ve got these slots along the sides, looking for some sort of clamp style mount that could hold onto the rack at those points

Hey guys, I’ve got a hookeroad discovery rack and have a smittybilt tent on top. Is there any sort of mount I can clamp onto the side of this rack to hold an awning? I don’t really have space to use the tslots so I’m looking for an alternative.

Yeah I don’t have that in mine, I have a 21 big bend Sasquatch so everything is pretty dumbed down when it’s comes to the “luxury” stuff

Won’t lie.. didn’t know there was one up there. I’m referring to the one below the dash in front of the shifter.

I’m fairly certain it’s not a device issue, I’ve tried connecting multiple things (phone, dash cam, head lamp) and nothing starts charging or turning on.

Hopefully it’s just the outlet itself.. I looked into a replacement and the part is like $130. I’d rather that than the APIM..

Thankfully I have wireless CarPlay so that’s not an issue for me, I was going to use the port to power a small dash cam so other than that not working I’m not missing much.

I haven’t tried an air can yet. And yes I did try a few cables, I know for sure they work because one of them is the one I use to charge my phone with the outlet in the center console.

I looked in the port and didn’t see any build up, that was one of my first checks along with the fuse.

Looking for some advice on my USB not working, I’ve checked both fuses listed (125 & 139) and even though both look fine I replaced them. The illumination around the USB port is still lighting up, so I pulled the port out and the wires all look intact and making contact. Is this just a matter of...
