  1. Bronco Hybrid Confirmed! by Ford CEO Jim Farley (4/2/26)

    You sound stuck in 2009.
  2. Bronco Hybrid Confirmed! by Ford CEO Jim Farley (4/2/26)

Like being forced to drive because of auto executives destroying good public transit in the 50s? Or being "forced" to be less free with seat belts? Governments job is the general welfare. That includes incentivizing it. Now, exactly how that's done is up to a wide variety of opinions that...
  3. Bronco Hybrid Confirmed! by Ford CEO Jim Farley (4/2/26)

I already caught myself on this mistake. Q4 of 2025, all electrified powertrains (EV, hybrid, PHEV) outsold ICE. Hybrids are the fastest growing category sales wise. For most vehicle classes, hybrids are within $750 of their ICE counterpart. And they're not that complicated. We're talking...
  4. Bronco Hybrid Confirmed! by Ford CEO Jim Farley (4/2/26)

I missquoted. Went back to look at my source and it was all electrified powertrains (hybrid, EV, PHEV) outsold ICE in Q4 2025. Hybrids themselves are holding steady at around 20% of the new vehicle market.
  5. Bronco Hybrid Confirmed! by Ford CEO Jim Farley (4/2/26)

Toyota has stated that its truck hybrids are designed for power, not efficiency. Look at Ford's own hybrid F-150. Markedly improved fuel economy over the gas version. And again, the market data doesn't bear that out. People don't like paying a lot every month for the privilege to get around...
  6. Bronco Hybrid Confirmed! by Ford CEO Jim Farley (4/2/26)

For plug in hybrids maybe. But you seem to not understand what a regular hybrid is. You fill it, and the engine charges the battery. No plug required. And hybrids outsell everything else in this country. So yeah, the market has spoken.
  7. Bronco Hybrid Confirmed! by Ford CEO Jim Farley (4/2/26)

Which is what hybrids are. Fill tank and go.
  8. Bronco Hybrid Confirmed! by Ford CEO Jim Farley (4/2/26)

A lot of old fuddy duddies wanting dinosaur tech for less horsepower than what a hybrid makes. I'm looking forward to it. Instant torque, better fuel economy, and the reliability of tech that's been in production for almost 30 years. What's not to like?
  9. To Raptor or not to Raptor…

If you wheel it, send it! If not, it's a massive waste.
  10. Tire Pressure -- 35 vs 39 PSI (ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS)

I won't touch the political stuff too much, but $8/gal on gas would be way closer to market value. If we didn't subsidize gas in the US, it'd cost closer to $15/gal. Renewables and small engineering changes costs a lot less than Uncle Sam spends to ensure gas costs the average American less than...
  11. Public land sale

The maps were created using BLM data on land labels that show if said land is available for public sale. That makes them accurate. How is that bombastic rhetoric?
  12. BRC respone to Washington post article.

Whipe I appreciate the rebuttal, the worst among those who wheel typically are the SXS crowd. Not those in this organization obviously, but there are plenty that go ripping through trails as fast as they can, tossing empties and cigarette butts as they go.
  13. Bronco vs. F150

Neither. Nor a Ranger Raptor. For what you're looking to do, save the cash and get a Ranger XLT. Tows decent enough for a travel trailer, roim for the bikes, back bench for the dogs. Then you can put the money you save towards the trailer, better biking equipment, etc, etc.
  14. Big Beautiful Bill - Can deduct auto loan interest for US made cars (purchased in 2025 or later)

Nice sob story. But you benefit from those taxes. Or at least you should. And that's the real sickness here. We don't need deductions, breaks, or increases. We need a functional government that can deliver on core tenants. The only thing our government does is national defense (sorta) and line...
