  1. Engine failure at 45k miles

For a whole week, every time I floored it I only got 10 psi boost. Driving to the dealership appointment yesterday, I wanted to verify that it was still the same and like magic - 16 psi, every time. I will consider it good for now and keep an eye on the oil level. Interesting side note, my...
  2. Engine failure at 45k miles

Thank you! I'll ask about that when I bring it in.
  3. Engine failure at 45k miles

I never got to see the condition of anything that came out of the truck other than the oil fill cap which looked sludgy. I didn't specifically inspect it when I changed the oil so I might not have noticed if it was already grungy but the oil seemed normal coming out and was at least 6 quarts...
  4. Engine failure at 45k miles

Not sure how it matters but I changed the oil at 39,734 miles and I was at 44,962 when I stopped for gas. It had the standard ford oil plug and I did all the priming. I reviewed the carfax before I bought it and it didn't show anything out the ordinary with oil changes at the dealership every 8k...
  5. Engine failure at 45k miles

Yes, it is a Raptor. Yes, I changed the oil and yes I know the manual says 7 quarts. The dipstick read full at 6 so I put in another half quart. It showed over full at 6.5 so I didn't want to put any more in.
  6. Engine failure at 45k miles

Truck is a 2023. I bought it used/certified at a Ford dealer in January with 35k miles and have taken it on several road trips without issue. Oil was changed at about 40k miles. About 100 miles from home on the most recent, a big orange wrench appeared on the display for a few seconds. There...
  7. Chrome, chrome, more chrome

Reproduction chrome 1G bumpers are available and not too expensive if they can be attached. Probably need to fab mounting points. I'd love to see it with chrome bumpers and white flares (see avatar).
  8. Soft doors

Checking if anyone has found soft doors or has plans to make - @Bestop_Team?

  10. Can Sasquatch wheels be stripped and polished?

Polished would look cool but more work than I would do - I would powder coat silver. I would love to see it either way if you do it.
  11. Stroppe Edition Bronco Spied in First Real-Life Look 📸

I think it looks awesome except for the tailgate. Hopefully they’ll put painted flat top flares on other trims. I’d probably get this if it came in 4 doors ( flame away ).
  12. The Scout Reveal is Coming!

It has not been announced how/where they will be sold. I’m hoping for direct sales.
  13. The Scout Reveal is Coming!

My favorite Mandolorian saying is “If you don’t know, don’t speak.” I have been following the Scout story since I first heard they were coming back because the Scout is my favorite 4x4. I currently have a ‘78 and previously owned a ‘64 and ‘79 along with the ‘71 Bronco in my avatar. So is the...
  14. Black Painted Hard top (+ Raptor style running boards) on 2024 Bronco at our dealership!

I agree but my beef is with the black/gray plastic flares, mirror caps, door handles and bumpers. Now at least the top looks good. Black plastic ALWAYS ends up looking like crap and everything fades a slightly different color. C’mon ford, at least offer options for black or body color painted...
  15. Custom 2 door interior

    Very nice!
