I have the gpx I can share in Gaia and onX.
Basically from Spokane to Alvord Desert east of the Steens Mountains for the first night. Then to Copper Mountain just west of Mono Lake for night 2. Night 3 was south to Ballarat then over Mengel Pass to warm springs for night 4. North up Badwater...
We missed the jets both times unfortunately.
We did hit some bad weather. The wind in Ballarat was horrible, 50-70mph the one night. Almost threw in the towel at that point.
That is a pretty good recap. We went so many places and it was a bit of a whirlwind. Already planing the return trip. The Alvord/Steens were worth the drive.
Just finished a 2600 mile trip through Death Valley. We hit the Alvord Desert and Copper Mountain on the way down from Eastern Washington. Went to Ballarat, Furnace Creek, Mangle Pass and a few others. Hit up Tahoe and Bend OR on the way back. The stop a Deschutes brewery was a treat after so...
The seat buckles are just tucked into a void space under the panel. I forgot I still need to remove the shoulder harness and tuck them into the side panels.
The hardware is from Bel-Metric. The tie downs are just marine flush floor pulls.
I put off this job for a while but the need for space forced me to get it done. I did not reinvent the wheel or anything. It came out ok I think.
The wood needs another coat of oil but that can wait for now.
Right but if it is going to stay on for say 100 miles then the switch is useless.
In my situation the ac button used to turn the ac off. I have had my truck over a year. It is now doing something different than say, a week ago.
Did you ever get anywhere with your A/C concern?
My 2023 started rhe habit of not allowing the a/c to be turned off. I used to be able to hit the a/c buttong and after a short time the cold air stopped. Now the cold air never stops. It will only stop if I select hi heat.
I saw a drop in my mpg as well. I suspected the fuel blend but after a tank of E0 it was the same. I assume now it is just the parasitic drag exacerbated by the colder temps.
