Yay!!! Fantastic job Ford and Filson!!! This is finally a gonna be home run...But, how do we convince Ford to build a 2dr version??? Take my 💰 🤑 if they do a 2dr Im in!
Either way Ill be upgrading to those seats !!! Exactly what I was anticipating from Filson. Their leatherwork is excellent...
While I was under the Bronco, I removed the oil pan for the sawzall... needed to hack the corner off to make room the the HP Super60 IFS...not fun but after refreshing my TIG skills, I got it finished....Not as pretty as the perfect welds Canton does, but it DONT LEAK! So im pleased... also...
Im using Braptor OEM UCAs ...had to build new strut towers to have the OEM fit. Totally happy with my choice as they obviously have a booted ball joint instead of an open heim...nearly 17" of travel! Worth the extra effort.
Your right, I forgot the Filson was a moar-door. Still looked awesome when it was shown to the public. The BDS one pictured above has always been one of my favorite builds...but Im a fan of half cabs. 🤪
I hope the new Filson Edition has thick leather everywhere and the shelter cloth instead...
The original filson store was in Seattle and primarily sold quality clothes, blankets supplies for the alaska/klondike gold rush in 1897 and had a monopoly by having the best products money could buy, which was very important back
then...literally life or death in some cases...poor...
This is fantastic news !!! I f**cking love filson!!! They are.my go to logging clothes! In fact over half my wardrobe is there quality stuff. 🤣 I read this thread with my Filson cap on, lol. I WOULD BUY THIS IN A 2DR.
I replaced the OEM coolant overflow tank that was leaking... Decided on the Mishimoto aluminum unit.
Very happy with their products! Fit and finish is excellent!
Here's a few pics
My observation is the functional range of the float and the potentiometer stops are slightly beyond the tanks empty and (especially) full range in OEM form...try taking the pump/ sender out and see for yourself.
The empty position is not zero exactly on the potentiometer range...and more...
