Saw a couple of places here in Chennai (exact opposite side of the rock from Phoenix) that would be wheelable. Problem is you'd need to drive on-road to get to them - something I'd never do here in India!
I talk to the wife and kid every day, so mostly missing the Bronco!
Got just over 18 last weekend going down to Tucson and then Bisbee the following day - I was ecstatic! Took the back way where speed limits are 65 or less. Anything above 75 with squatch starts to really reduce mileage.
Probably due to the refrigerator-like aerodynamics of the rig. I'm...
Mostly hair. Oh wait, that's my daughter's fault over the years - Never mind!
I've only lost little bits of paper, usually a receipt that I stuffed in the cup holder or cubby in front of it.
Speaking of hair, never, ever put a lab in the back of the bronco with the doors off and/or the top...
I've also done that twice. Once you start, you have to keep going. In my garage, it's quite the puzzle to get the top back up again.
That reminds me - need to touch up paint the bottom of the middle garage arch!
I have a long and checkered history with pony walls. We drove to Oregon on vacation a couple of years back. Stopped at a really nice view spot about 10 mins from where we were staying. Got in, put it in Drive, hit the gas, and BAM - pony wall!
Had the capable bumper, which got pushed back...
I have them pointed down as low as they will go. The holes in the Westin bumper are a bit tight - even for the lights they sell. I'm thinking amber film is my best bet in this case.
Sounds like your battery is long in the tooth. I was pegged above 15 for several months on mine. I really didn't even notice it until my ASS quit working after A/C season (8 months here!) and then got deep sleep warnings a week into a work trip to India.
Bought a replacement at Costco for...
+1 on the Milwaukee M18. Recently added a quick connector to the end of the hose. Takes less than 20 minutes from grabbing the bag to putting it away and inflating 35's from around 18-35PSI.
Also handy around the house for the wife's car and my Dolly, which hasn't held air in the tires for...
- Have white pillar/ditch lights - Diode Dynamics SS3 Pro Combo pattern
- Bought the $100 fog lights or so for my Westin Bumper when I put that on - wired to factory fog switch. I want to add Amber film to these as I get a lot of bright flashes on road from oncoming cars.
- Added 4 amber dust*...
All the time - this plus airing down really smooths out what passes for forest roads around here.
Occasionally comes in handy for more articulation.
This is practically necessary equipment for the last 10 miles to Sheeps Bridge!
I've only had 2 on my 22 Badlands - ~42k miles.
Wiring harness on passenger side backup and x-traffic warning. They simply fixed the harness rather than ordering a new one.
Front diff pinion seal. Noticed the leak after about 2 years, but waited until they released a revised seal before...

Learned on a 49 Ferguson. Plow, rake or seed a field and cutting brakes save you time at each end. Plus, when pulling heavy weight or a plow, cutting brakes are the only way to steer if you don't have enough counter weight up front. The Ferguson didn't even have a way to put weight...
1st 2 replacements were OEM glass. 3rd one was aftermarket. 22 with 40k miles. The aftermarket one took a rock without a crack running, and was able to have it filled in as it's not in my direct line of vision.
The near vertical position means that you will replace windshields nearly as much...
