There auxiliary system is adjusted for no boost, if boost activates the auxiliary system applies pedal too far due to lack of resistance of the brake pedal so the first one.
Pull fuses 28 and 29 underhood after you set up neutral tow and before you take it out of neutral tow mode. You must do it in that order or you will have all kinds of problems. I do it all the time now, a bit of a hassle but way better than having brakes lock up randomly.
We were out on cabin trail ne of Tucson when it happened at exact bottom of steep gully. It took off and stuffed front bumper into uphill track. That sucked...
If the Ford pro cal tune fixes the problem why can't the problem be addressed by Ford with a software update without having to buy the pro cal tune and being forced to buy 91 octane fuel?
Thanks, I tried a search first but couldn't find anything. I've never had much luck with the search engine here.
Appreciate the input, maybe a custom tune is in my future.
Last couple days while out on rocky trails I've been experiencing unexpected engine racing. All 4 wheels are on the ground. Foot completely off throttle. Bronco starts to race forward till I apply the brake. Does it uphill or downhill. Rpms have went as high as 3000 with no input from pedal...
I would like them but not with the Goodyear tires. I live on gravel road and the factory flares are terribly dinged up along with lower door chips. Thats with mudflaps that were only about 4" off the ground. (I say were because someone just stole them while wife was grocery shopping).
That was discussed early on. It specifically states in manual to not disconnect battery. It can possibly lead to problems when you arrive at destination and reattach battery. I sure wish it was that easy.
Although I love your ingenuity consider this:A 30 lb propane cylinder can typically withstand temperatures up to about 120°F (49°C) without risk of failure. However, it's important to keep it in a well-ventilated area and avoid exposing it to direct sunlight or high heat to ensure safety. On hot...
Its hard to say, probably not exact same system as the older ones but who knows. Mechanic at Ford dealership did an update that he "thinks" might take care of problem but I don't hardly dare try it without pulling fuses. So maybe I should try it but I just don't know.
