Well…. This is not a user issue. This is a design flaw!!!!!!!!

I left my Bronco outside for two hours while I had a meeting. Snow in through the roof all along the right side. I cant even leave it outside for a hot second without snow getting in. SOOO dumb. Ford needs to rethink the soft top design. I have not touched the top since I picked it up from the dealership last week. This is craziness

I spoke to Ford today who said all issues have to go through the dealership, who in turn lets Ford know there is an issue. I’m taking it to the dealer on Monday to have the top removed and then put back on. The lady was really nice, and said Ford will follow up after the dealership tells them what’s going on. Super Bizarre.

Hey everyone, I just wanted to say thanks for having me and good luck with your rigs, I still haven't received even a VIN yet, but we've moved to Colorado in Sept, so I'm going to join a local group here. Thanks a lot!

Morning from Minnesota! So as I wait and dream of my Bronco arriving one day, I'm also going through all the logistics I will need to handle to make it work. I'm single and don't have a garage so trying to map out the door and roof removal process. Anyone ever seen this system or something similar?

https://topliftpros.com/pages/bronco

Seems pricey, but to not have to ask for help every time i want the roof off is worth 10x this for me. What do you all think?

It's a great idea. I have a jack stand for when I working on my motorcycle. This would be something similar. I'd say go for it. I am also waiting on a bronco.

I really like this system. I'm not sure my wife would be able to help lift the top off my Bronco so being able to do it myself with this lift would be great! I do think they should have also integrated a place to store the doors on the lift somewhere but, minor detail. If this was compatible with a 2dr Bronco I would definitely be considering it.
mmcsween21
According to their site, there is a 2 door model in the works! And they make a door cart.
Looking for some people to ride within the Minnesota or surrounding areas. I picked up my Bronco Badland in December.

Question for Minnesota people. Anyone adding tint and what percent are you adding? I've never tinted windows before but I saw online that the darkest tint MN allows is 50%. Is that even a noticeable amount of tint? I would really prefer to make the front side windows match the tint in the back. Also considering some windshield protection, non tinted.

I had a pretty dark tint in the BMW that I traded for my Bronco. Around 35% in the front and back windows. Cops never bothered me, living in the suburbs south of the cities. But if you go lower than 50% (is the darkest you can go by law on the front windows), you are taking a risk. It worked for me. But is a gamble.
ramiref
I just had them match the factory tint so it would look the same as the vinyl back window. Looks awesome in my otpion.

Still waiting on my 2 Door Base I ordered in July of last year. I know it may be quite awhile until I get it but I have seen several Broncos on the roads in Minnesota recently which makes it feel like, yes, it will really happen!

Ah nice, should be a good experience with Granger. Congrats! What was your reservation date? So far back I don't even remember my res date, I think day 3, but with all the Ford issues I'm pushed to probably late 2022 or even 2023.

Edit: Dang, 2dr BD, me too. What color? I'm eruption green.

Reserved July 13, the night reservations opened but couldnt get it to go through until after midnight, so my res is listed as July 14. In production mid August and was at Dirt Mountain until mid November. Arrived at Granger on Friday last week. Financing all squared away with Granger over the phone, accessories installed, and ready to pick up tomorrow! So pumped! 514 days since reservation...

Edit: A51 for me. Werent you originally A51 2dr BD as well? Lol

I was A51 - BB, BD then Badlands. Eventually ordered the orange Badlands. Then we had to re-order for MY22, I ordered Eruption Green BD.

Back in Sept I needed a vehicle so I purchased a A51 Bronco Sport BB, from Granger.

I'm set now, done changing my mind. LOL...

Not sure if this allowed, please lmk if not.
I am a sales rep in the twin cities area and I had a customer who could not get financed for their incoming Big Bend red 4 door mid package 2.7L. Is there an appropriate place to post this for sale in the area?

I feel bad for my customer, but I have been working on this with him since January and now it up for grabs. Hoping I can still get buyer after all the work put in. TIA

P.S.
Of course my dealership is going to raise above msrp.

Hi, Just found this group. Looks like I am moving back to the mid-west after 16 years in Texas. If everything works out should be in the Appleton WI area some time in late July. Hopefully will be able to find some good places to take the Bronco and Jeep out to play in the area.

Welcome, I'm in MN. I'm new to this off road stuff but I hear you can check out 4x4 clubs or facebook. I do want to make it to the Upper Peninsula sometime.

Thanks! Have owned 7 Jeeps over the years ranging back to a CJ7 and have done some wheeling over that time. Already joined a FB group in WI to see what type of activity there is. I also typically reach out to groups in areas we are road tripping to in order to meet up with locals going out.

Think I will be unemployed for awhile when I get there so will be looking to get out and explore.

@Aaroneast I got one at Superior on the 5th. We decided to skip Chicago and just wait a week and see it here. Big deciding point was I couldn't get tickets to any of the Cubs games that weekend lol.

Same here, its alot to add on after a new purchase of a vehicle.
Submitted my order for a 4dr Sasquatch Area 51 Badlands a couple weeks ago.

I am working on changing hobbies from racing cars to off-roading. The new Bronco looks like the perfect vehicle to make that transition. I have raced cars for about 14 years so I have plenty of time behind a wheel but not much off road. I did own a 1999 Isuzu VehiCross for a while and played with that in the dirt a bit but I am hoping to do much more with the Bronco.

Is anyone from MN and planning to take their Bronco on trails that has experience off-roading?

Has anybody from the Twin Cities formed any opinions about their dealerships yet? I currently have my reservation through Metropolitan Ford of Eden Prairie and I'm wondering if there are any compelling reasons to change it to a different dealership. Apple Valley seems to have better reviews and (at least according to this forum) has committed to no additional dealer markups.

I've tried so hard up here, but none of the places are the same. A lot of it is just junk LOL. I smoke my own on my pellet grill, and it's good, but even it's not the same. But I'm not trying to be out in -5 on a stick burner for 15 hours. It is what it is, I guess!

Hi Brit! New to the group from the Twin Cities (South Metro) and I ordered mine through Apple Autos in Apple Valley. Already placed the order and they've been great to work with. They're charging MSRP and if it arrives and you don't like it, they let you cancel the order without penalty (I'm sure they won't have any issue getting it sold).

I ordered my 2dr base Sasquatch in Oxford white. Can’t wait to see all the mods I will be able to do!

Checking in from Chicago burbs, and sounds like you MN folks are getting better pricing than here in Chicago, generally, which is why I switched to Granger. I am wondering if any of you ever go to Blue Ox in Eau Claire since y'all aren't too far from there? It is pushed back to late August this year after being cancelled last, but always good times and great bluegrass. Hoping to have the new Bronco by then to take my pop up.
