I don't know if there are group rules in regards to this question, if so I apologize in advance.

I prefer the Bestop slant back look on Broncos and soft tops in general. I had Jeeps with both hard and soft tops and I prefer the soft top.

I am hopefully going to install a new Trektop this weekend. It should arrive Friday. My guess is that I will never put the hard top back on it. I purchased off the lot and it came with hard top, otherwise I wouldn't have ordered one with a hard top. I know how difficult the hard tops are to get, so my inclination is to just store it. Mine is the 2.0 with the sound deadening. I have the Lux package. There is nothing wrong with it, save for one white mark on it that I have no idea how it got there.

So, all that being said, I have seen some ridiculous prices for these things. Doesn't anyone have a good idea what I could get for it? I assume being in Georgia, the market would be limited as opposed to trying to sell one in Southern California. I will most likely just keep it, but if there was some crazy price someone wants to pay, I would be silly to not consider it I guess.

4 door I assume? I'd probably wait a minute until all those guys that had to give it up to get their Bronco show up. The other consideration is apparently it's like 15k from the dealer so if there is even a small chance you'll want it, you'd probably be better off keeping.

Yes, that's my inclination but I mean I have heard $7k-8k for a used one, someone in another group said they saw $9500.00. That seems silly. I can't imagine someone paying $7k+ for one.

I would think that the price point of a factory hard top will drop pretty quickly in the next 2-3 years. Eventually it won't be 15k from the dealer and multiple companies are racing to release after market hard tops. Those are all in the 5-7k range. I would think once they get a little more common prices will drop. If you want to keep it by all means keep it, but its a large item and even removed I imagine it'll get damaged. I would hold onto it for a little while to decide if you really prefer the soft top and then get rid of it while its value is at its highest.

I am in the boat of wanting a hard top, but pricing is way too high. I have a soft top and I love it. I switched to a soft top to try to get mine earlier and I don’t fully regret that decision because soft top is very easy and convenient to use. I wish I could add a roof rack and I think broncos look best with a hard top. I’ll just have to wait until there is a better option, but wish I could have one now.

I tell you what, I (stupidly) didn't check the clearance in my garage and backed in with the soft top half back and smacked it good enough that I can't get it to seal back totally correctly and I wouldn't be too upset at the opportunity to buy it from you for a few hundred bucks if you ever get desperate enough to take that for it. Wish I could offer more lol.
