Hey Folks,

Some pics from the Bronco Off-Road event today!! I drove a Manual 4dr Badlands (I now kinda wish I had the manual) The shifting and crawler gear was like butter. Even if you got the automatic, try out the manual! I got to go and do different areas because of it 👌

I also got a new hat and a gloss catalog of all accessories available(must have)

I was there this morning also. It was a really fun event. I was lucky enough to drive that same badlands and also a big bend. So glad I got the manual transmission. Both were a blast but can't wait for my badlands to show up

I was there yesterday as well. I actually went the opposite...I picked the Badlands, non Sas, with the 2.3 and the Lux package... Basically it had every option that my WT in Moab did not (still automatic) so it was really nice to compare.

My opinion, not that I ever doubted, but even more solid on my 2.7. My guide had me put the BL in Baja and told me to give it the juice. After spending like 7 hours in a WT, that 2.3 just didn't feel like it had any real juice. I mean it's capable.. But I'll still take my 2.7, bad gas mileage, dropped valves at all.

Also confirmed, that the BL with the power seats gets carpeted floors. Of course we knew that but it's just so strange because the washout interior is the big point and to lose that is just silly.

And lastly, my WT in Moab just had the mid package. This BL had the lux, So I was finally able to see that wonderful 12-in screen and all the awesome cameras that I'm getting (only ordering High). I did get the opportunity to at least crank up the b&o system, and although once you start getting super loud it gets distorted, it is definitely better than the standard sound system. Basically in the normal Bronco there's virtually no audio coming from behind the driver (the rear speakers are worthless), But in the b&o you actually do get sound coming from the back, and you do get some ok bass. Now it's definitely not worth the price of the Lux if that's all you're after, And it doesn't hold a candle to the premium sound system that's in my Wrangler JK.

All in all, I thought the event was good, especially since it was free. I wasn't expecting a lot, but it did go by really quick. You really don't get much of a chance to get to know the Bronco. But if you're desperately wanting to see one, drive one, and take one off-road at least it's something.

I was there last Wednesday. Ended up driving a Big Bend. Impressed with how easy even that made everything feel - even on the 32" "street" tires.

man, I wanted to go so bad - but at my job, we're in the middle of a HUGE system conversion, and I'm working 12-14 hour days each day... I can't get away.. Prairie City is right up the highway, it KILLED me that I couldn't go :(

@da_jokker LOL ... the past week and a half has been nuts with this conversion - I'm pretty much working straight through with no breaks or lunches
