So a question for Indiana folks. Never had a soft top—Jeep or anything else. What’s it like when it gets to -10°–10° for days on end during the winter? Noise issues?

Soft tops are a lot louder than the hardtops. They can definitely be chilly as well, but the wrangler I have heats up pretty quickly - the only time I really notice it being more cold than usually is when I haven't given it time to warm up or I am driving at higher speeds. I usually have my hardtop on in the winter (wife prefers it too)...soft top for summer...easy on / easy off.

I had a soft top Jeep. Loved driving it but with slight hearing loss and the road and wind noise- I just couldn’t hear in it.

I am seriously contemplating the Bestop Sunrider flippy top to replace the front hard panel on my wildtrak. I have had two other convertibles. Both were soft tops and both were loud, sometimes to the point you couldn't chat. Can't speak to temps, but soft tops will eventually be destroyed by the sun. At least in CA and TX. Happened to both my Sebring and SMART.
