Hello, I come to you with both bad and good news. Bad news is anyone with a hard top that has a build scheduled for August will get pushed back. The good news (I'm doing my best to put a good spin on this) is that Ford knows there's an issue with the hardtop and is going to change manufacturers to get better quality. Which I think is better to admit something rather than try to hide it behind something else. Even though this is another blow on top of many others the bright side of it is your Bronco while delayed again, won't be delivered to you with roof issues where it spends more time off road than on road. I can't really answer questions on which types this includes or when it will be cleared up as a small birdie landed on my shoulder and whispered this to me since I will and do communicate this with our group. I'm told Ford will officially announce this with more details in the next couple days.
For those who are in production or have been produced and then got nothing. There's a few reasons behind this. Issues with getting vehicles shipped has been one. Ford has made adjustments to get these Broncos moving to dealers. There's a chip shortage and some that are built are waiting on a chip. Those that do and have taken delivery and notice about 25 miles on their Bronco, that's due to Ford doing additional quality checks before releasing it. Some people have up fits and that has also been confirmed that after being produced it does leave and go to a shop for completion of these add ons. Those with a squatch will have this added delay. I will do my best to stay on this and keep communicating things as I know them. I am off today so feel free to text me or email me tomorrow with questions.
