Does anyone have a reservation with Covert Ford in Austin? I have a reservation with them and they have not communicated with me in anyway since the day after I placed my reservation. with the exception of letting me know every few weeks they have other cars for sale.
I’ve already made the choice to change dealers but have not yet waiting to see what they do

My original reservation was with Covert Ford and I had the same experience. Therefore I switched. Bluebonnet Ford may be a good option. I have purchased a truck from them in the past and their finance guy went above and beyond.

What date and time did you make your reservation? If it's in the first few days you will want to change dealers quick so you can get your order converted before March 19. I don't have my reservation with Covert, but they are my closest dealership so I'll probably go there for service.

Yes, I've emailed him twice and called twice. One time Josh picked up and said he was with a customer and would call me back but never did. It sounds like we're all getting the run-around with Covert, so I'm switching. I only have a handful of days left in town before 3/19 due to a crazy work travel schedule, so I need to figure this out asap.

Same as replied. I had a reservation with Covert Ford as well and had same experience. Almost no contact/updates and when I called to get more information, they would not have time to talk and would call me back...which they never did. I then tested the waters a bit with Tomball Ford (near Houston) but something about them did not sit right with me....ultimately ended up switching to Granger.

Josh is the bronco sales rep. Nice guy, but seems over whelmed. They are prioritizing reservations with their allocated number , and it appears there is a backlog of entering orders. Unless you have a 7/14 or 7/15 reservation, your is probably entered. That’s my nice way of saying it.

My opinion- they only care about the reservations they are sure they can convert to sales this year and will deal with everyone else later. I have a reservation at mak haik and they want a $1k down payment, but won’t put in writing it’s refundable. So I’m sticking with covert as I’m 7/18 reservation and figure MY22 is in my future. Or get impatient and get Dodge TRX or Land Rover Defender. I bet a non Ford is in my future.
