Good afternoon L-Townies! As I sit here and watch the snowfall and wait to go out and play with my snowblower, I thought I would share with all the other cool kids the accessories (https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/⚙-2021-bronco-accessories-pictures-ford-performance-parts-catalog-availability-schedule.12067/) I am thinking about and why...not to show off or mansplain or anything but just to share and maybe we can help @NayNay plan.

Here is some of what I am thinking and why:
1. Air design Hood- this is purely aesthetic (to my knowledge) and I will need to see it in person before a final decision as it can be cool or really cheesy.
2. Splash Guards- I have small ones on my HUmmer and I still get the side covered in mud, snow, etc. Should keep stones off the paint as well
3. Cargo area cover- Would like to able to lock the storage/trunk when the roof is off
4. Swing Gate Table- I play competitive paintball (at 52, yes I am a child) and the workspace will be nice. In addition, have a table to eat off of will be nice
5. Door sill- Nice not to destroy the paint when getting in and out of the vehicle when walking in the messy stuff
6. Onboard air, tho I am up in the "air" about the ARB one or a different aftermarket version. Nice to have when airing down tires for off-road and not having to find a gas station to air back up...or for floatie toys at the beach. If you want to add an air tank you can add train horns.
7. Doors- Waiting on aftermarket as not a fan of the tube doors ford is offering. The donut door sold my wife on the Bronco, so need to find a substitute.
8. Light pods or light bar- It is up to you and the Ford warranty will be nice to have but I like BlackOak lights much better. I have one of their light bars on my HUmmer and it is super well built and really throws a lot of light down the road. I will likely add one to the Bronco tho I need a fog light option for the modular bumper, so who knows.
9. Performance exhaust- I always add these and will likely add the Ford one for the warranty, but the sound and added performance are important so I may wait for a Magnaflow.
10. Power Pack Calibration- Likely get this as I believe that you need as much power as you can get...When in doubt, power out? Or I need the HP to "get out of harm's way." I want to see how much HP we can get but having the Ford warranty is important. I will likely get a custom tune after the OEM warranty is done. I have a custom tune on my Hummer and it really wakes up the vehicle. Believe it or not, with the modern tuners, this can be done via email.

For those who don't know, I am getting the FE so many of the accessories come standard (again not showing off). I will add the towing package, but that will have to be a dealer accessory as the factory won't put it on the FE (GVW issues). I got the dual painted top and I also need the roof rack, but the 4-door won't happen until MY22.

I am curious what other townies are considering and why.

I'm getting your #3, 4, 5, 7 (had tube doors on my Wrangler and loved them), 8 (just the light bar)...I'm up in the air on Exhaust and tune but leaning toward. I'm opting for the Dual top option for my 4DR WT in shadow black but I'm also adding the mesh top because again, had a JTop brand mesh on my Wrangler and although more expensive than others was well worth it so I'll just buy from Ford.

Other than that just little odds and ends, really waiting to see what aftermarket starts to offer and when.

I am debating the mesh top, tho will likely wait. My experience with the tune is a very positive one. I started with boxed tunes in the Diablo tuner and then went to a custom tune. The throttle response, extra power, and better shift points were great and I even gained 2 MPG. My GM v8 would knock at WOT on 87 octane, which also went away. Depending on cost, it can be a good complement to other mods (intake, exhaust, etc.). Just my $0.02

Let's just LinEx the bottom half for u

Oh for the exhaust you can go aftermarket thru us on that and not do Ford if u want another option. When you alter exhaust and change to another 1 it will come with it's own warranty but you've gotta keep the old 1 in case u sell or trade it.

Ok back to shoveling snow now cuz I can't afford fancy snow blowers and husband is out of hot air.

Soundbar might be cool for the drive on beaches and camping.

Liking the list. A lot of things I'm considering as well - specially the lockable cargo box, and the tune kit. Want to see what improvement you get though.

This is another reason I'm glad I'm further back on the list. I get to see, observe, etc, before I get mine. And I do own a snow blower but refuse to use it. My husband will but I still shovel since it's physical activity. Being in an office 10 plus hours a day I do everything I can when not at work to keep moving. As a side note I'm too lazy to do actual exercise, I get distracted and bored easily.

@NayNay sorry, something manly about the smell of gasoline and throwing snow 30 feet in the air 🤣😁😉

@CARdiac probably why my husband asked me several times today if I needed him to get the snow blower.
