IMPORTANT ALLOTMENT UPDATE
Hello. As I said I would update everyone by noon. Ford has 190k reservations and can only do about 70k. They did a split to spread out the allotment across all dealers and that's just a tentative plan until reservations convert. Once the orders open up there's a 60 day window to get each person to convert to a real order. In order to get more of the allocation from Ford we have to have a higher conversion rate than the national average. This is absolutely where I think we will come out way ahead of the pack. If we can pull off close to all converting our allocation goes up. Ford's saying that 50% of the allocation will be determined by conversion rate and this is why I announced a cut off. 25% had to do with growth and I've already shared that my store has hit that mark. 25% on competitive registration (other models like jeep). So collectively we need to ban together and convert. If you're reservation is stamped 9/19 or later than you already know you're a 22 MY, but we still need it to be converted to help pull more allocation from Ford. Ford is placing all dealerships everywhere into a tug of war. I'm glad I saw this coming from the start. Batches 1 and 2 and half of 3 will see a MY21. The FE gets theirs regardless and can disregard their batch number. We need to ban together so we can get enough to cover the rest. I'm in the back of batch 3 and I REALLY want mine, as I know all of you do too. My boss has completely moved his to the end of the entire line for a MY22 and will still convert to help us. Here's where we need to grab a piece of the rope and PULL by converting our order. As a side note some will get pushed back due to the pandemic constraints but you absolutely want to convert so when production resumes you will have yours built in order. Lastly, remember I'm 1 individual so it will be a process for me to focus on each person 1 at a time to assist with converting. You all have my contact information. Never panic. Just text or email me ANYTIME and I will respond as soon as I am able to. If 24 hours pass and you've not heard back then text or email me again. My only exception to the 24 hour rule is when I'm off work. You all have my schedule. So if you email me Wed at 7 I won't see it until Friday.
