Long time lurker, first time poster. It seems most of you are from the northern part of the state, but here's something for us southerners concerning dealers.

I dropped off my truck at D Patrick Boonville (an hour drive b/c I refuse to deal with Bill Dobson Ford in Washington which is a 10 minute trip) for some recall work this morning. While there, I tried to ask a couple salesman some questions on Bronco. One guy was a complete jerk- very gruff one word answers, no help at all, kept trying to tell me to do B&P and it'd have all the answers I need ??. I asked him if I could sit in a Ranger because I'm a big guy (6'3, 230lbs) and I'm worried about being cramped lol. He couldn't be bothered to get up out of his seat. One guy seemed like he truly wanted to help but didn't know a thing about Bronco. Anyway, D Patrick isn't doing any deals for Bronco.

Also, they had a carbonized gray F150 in the showroom ?. CG looked SEXY in their low light showroom (which puzzled me lol). They also had a black Bronco Sport Badlands with Roast (I think) interior. The Roast is growing on me. Sorry, didn't think about pics!

I've also emailed Ruxer in Jasper to ask about invoice pricing I saw on here. I've yet to hear back from them.

I guess no dealers in SW Indiana want to sell me a Bronco lol.

I live in Plainfield and I have had so much frustration with dealers. I finally got a great person to speak with me at Bill Estes in Brownsburg. He was kind, honest, and sent me all sorts of info he had. Of course I had seen it all on here but he was really cool. I'll probably switch to them when he texts me back with pricing details.

@mjjnuge I'll have to keep them in mind. I live in the Vincennes area and we haven't had a Ford dealer in Knox County for over 10 years and I will not give the next closest one my business, so I'm searching. D Patrick was great when I bought my current truck, but I guess the people I worked with left.

Sorry to hear about the terrible treatment, I had a similar experience when I went with my 73 yr old father into the dealership to place an order for his Bronco Sport. No answers, didn’t offer any insight, seemed like we were taking his time, then he tried to get dad to buy an escape instead . Ugh, I don’t understand why someone would work a sales job that they don’t have the slightest bit of interest in what they are selling.

Not 100% but I heard Sternbergs Ford in Dale was offering $500 off and no interest on 3 and 4 year payment plans. I live in Indy but my wife’s uncle is a salesman for their Jeep dealership in between Jasper and Huntingburg, and that’s what he was saying. May not be much but it’s the best I’ve heard of in your area. Hope it works out for you, best of luck!

@Cmreed2016 no never did. I went with Ruxer in Jasper just from looking at their website. All of their new vehicles were priced several thousand below sticker and I've always heard good things. Since reserving, they've sent several emails giving us info on what's going on and have answered any questions I've had promptly. I feel like I found the right one.

@abe thats impressive... I have not been impressed with Ray Skillman's response which is a large dealer on south side of Indy. I haven't received one email or phone call from them reaching out about info. I've been emailing a regular sales associate who's been answering some of my questions and he said there's 120 reservations there. Crazy that a large dealership with that many reservations hasn't made an effort to keep us updated. I'm planning on reaching out and feeling out a few dealerships before replacing my order.

@Cmreed2016 I feel like with a large dealership like that, they don't really care about their individual customers because they know someone else will coming walking through that door. I don't think there's any incentive for them because they know they'll make a sale from someone else. Give Ruxer a try. However, they have 51 reservations and their projected allocation was only 15.
