Brown Mountain Information: https://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/nfsnc/recarea/?recid=49004
Brown Mountain is not for every Bronco. Please do your own research to know if Brown Mountain is right for your Bronco’s capability.
Brown Mountain requires a pass; they are $5 per day or $30 annual pass, must be purchased prior to the ride. See above link for places to purchase passes.
We will have 2 (possibly 3) groups, each group will be 10-12 Broncos, they will convoy to Brown Mountain, at the base of the trail is a parking area to air up/down. The trail is one way in, one way out, it will be crowded with Broncos (obviously) and other vehicles.
Highway 105 Information:
This ride is a scenic ride, and should be pretty with the leaves starting to change. All Broncos can do this ride, it will be on paved/maintained gravel roads. We will stop along the way.
What to Bring:
Whatever you need to camp, food, and drinks.
Make sure you have a full tank of gas.
Donations for firewood and the breakfast are always appreciated but not required.
