Dog Days of Summer - Mores Creek - Pilot Peak Bronco Meet

  • *UPDATE* A group will be meeting at the Sinclair gas station in Idaho City at 12 noon to enjoy the scenic drive up to the trailhead together. Escape the summer heat and join us for a cool ride up into the forest starting at the Pilot Peak trailhead - Mores Creek Summit. Saturday July 22nd at 1pm This will be a full day of Idaho Bronco adventures! We have a great place picked out to stop and enjoy some late afternoon eats so be sure bring some picnic goodies and chairs with you! This will be a fun easy route then even well equipped Bronco Sports can join us for!

    Policies & Reminders For All 2023 Boise Bronco Owner’s events.
    Event Waiver
    • You are required to complete a Release of Liability Waiver for all occupants of your Bronco. You must bring it with you to on-site registration.
    * A printed, signed, and dated Release of Liability Waiver is required for each participant attending a Boise Bronco Owner’s event.
    * All passengers in your Bronco must sign a Release of Liability Waiver. A parent or the minor’s legal guardian must sign and date a waiver for participants under the age of 18 years old.
    * All terrain tires are required.
    Vehicle Modifications
    Seat belts are required in all vehicles for all occupants.
    Maximum suspension lift allowed is 6”.
    Your Bronco must be street legal with valid registration and insurance.
    A working GMRS radio is recommended for all Boise Bronco events.

    Trail Etiquette and Conditions
    1. Yield to other trail user’s. Approach equestrians with caution, all trail users must yield to horses.
    2. Proper use of lockers and trail turn assist technology, tread lightly principles. www.treadlightly.org
    3. Respect private land and leave gates as you find them.
    4. Stay on designated trails and roads.
    5. Pack out what you pack in.
    6. Stay together, go with the flow.
    7. Trail conditions can vary widely between trails and even on the same trail on different days. Factors such as weather, other users, and the line you choose all have an effect on the trail and how your Bronco will traverse it. When in doubt, ask a Trail Guide for guidance. While we trim back as much brush as possible, we are limited by Federal, Tribal and Private landowners to the amount acceptable by each entity.

    Weather conditions can be dynamic. We recommend you look at a 10-day forecast of weather conditions at weather.com or a similar site.

    Your Bronco should have;
    32” or larger tires
    Locking Rear Axle
    Skid Plates (underbody armor)
    As close to a full tank of fuel as possible
    Inside your Bronco;
    GMRS or UHF Radio
    Tow Straps and Recovery Aids
    Water and Trail Foods
    Windbreaker
    Sunscreen
