Just got an email saying my initial period for connected navigation is ending and telling me I need to take out a subscription...which took me somewhat by surprise...especially after what I'd already forked out for the vehicle. So my question is...if I don't take the subscription out (happy to use Android Auto or Google) is the navigation app in the entertainment centre pretty much useless or does it just not get live updates?
