Installed these last night. I am really happy with how they came out. They are Oraclelights.com grill lights.

I like this... and I think I would like it more if the letters were translucent to really let the light inside. I'll probably have to make some molds and mess with epoxy now.

@DasQball I am actively trying to get rid of any trim that is not black on my vehicle. This is step one. They make these lights in white or black letters with white back light and white or black letters with amber back light.

Did you wire them all together and then to the aux wires?
Shamrocklax03
@shoelessjoe yes, I wired BRO together and NCO together and used heat crimp connectors to tie into the purple prewired wire that ends near the top of the radiator. Purple wire connected to the aux 6 wire.

Has anyone seen pictures of the black w/ amber version yet?
Shamrocklax03
@JakeC Oracle hasn't dropped them yet and I haven't seen any examples on IG or photos on their website.

I read that whole 19 page thread on those lights. I went from very excited to meh to maybe to I-don't-know to I'll wait to see more photos of the finished product. You're picture on the right looks great. That would make me want to get back on board. How difficult was the wiring? Pretend I've never done any automotive wiring ever lol.
Shamrocklax03
@Due51 The wiring was not difficult at all. This was my first time doing any type of automotive electrical work. I watched a couple videos, one specific to these lights. I wish my hands were a little smaller and that I was left handed. The prewires for the aux switches are tucked up against the firewall and were at a tough angle for me. Other than that no big deal. I used heat crimp connectors and they worked great.

@Shamrocklax03 so you tied them into an AUX switch as opposed to tapping into the running lights?
Shamrocklax03
@Due51 That's right. I have a automotive electrical engineer in the family and she advised me not to tap in to the parking lights. I originally wanted to do that.
