How is everyone dealing with rock chips? I went down a dirt road for the first time yesterday and I have like 4-5 rock chips already on both sides of the car. I don't have mud flaps because I didn't think I would like the look of them. What do you off-roaders do?

I’m considering the OEM mudflaps myself (when my Bronco gets here next month) I will have the steps too so that should help…hopefully?

What do you hate the look of more - mud flaps or paint chips?
I'm probably doing flaps and running boards.

Great question. I definitely had the paint chips. Mud flaps it is, I guess. Don't think I can do the running boards, though. Although as the paint chips mount, I might change my mind on that as well. Are these paint chips going to rust?

@broncoGIRL21 depends on how deep they go and what the base material is.

I believe everything but the rear quarter panels are aluminum, so should not.

I'm waiting for some mudflaps that accommodate the Sasquatch flares AND running boards without having to finagle a DIY solution, let alone one they're charging $500 a pair for.

I have sas and had a bunch of stone chips before I figured it out as well. So I got the mud flaps that go with sas pkg and I do like them. BUT I also did a clear vinyl strip all the way up and down the body right up the crease in the door. It is almost impossible to see and it's worked great for me so far.

@broncoGIRL21 I had it professionally done. Most shops who do vinyl or graphics should be able to help you out. My 2 door cost a couple hundred out the door. I used a guy south of Ann arbor if your near by I can get you his contact information.
