Still lurking and hoping for everyone!
Took delivery Thursday. Found out I had Covid on Sunday. šŸ˜‚ The worst part is that I can’t smell that new car smell!! But it’s sitting shut up right in the driveway waiting for me. Also, I had just got the flat spots in the tires out!

@CarStory I got my built email 11/8, I took delivery 11/18 and my pic on 11/23

Woke up and checked Ford’s tracker, and it shows Delivered!

Dealer is closed today, so it must have been dropped off overnight. On my way to check the lot now. šŸ¤ž

Well it’s here. Should I stand guard with my Beretta for the next 30 hours? 🤣

Observations:

1) VERY dirty.

2) Not too much longer than my 2017 Escape except spare tire. Looks like it should fit in garage but we’ll see tomorrow afternoon when I can take delivery.

3) Left unlocked, keys must be in drop box. Means I can’t activate FordPass yet but I DID sit in it. šŸ˜Ž

4) Came with mirrors folded in.

5) Quality sticker says it was selected for random testing and has 21 miles on odometer. Guess that’s where the mud comes from.

6) Has two drill marks in paint for front license plate mount. NC doesn’t require them, so I’ll ask if they can fill that in so it’s not visible anymore. I actually took the front bracket out of the back seat just to make sure no one tries to mount it. The antenna was also laying in the back seat.

7). MIC 2.0 overall looks good. A few of the edges, particularly on front seat panels, are a little rough but not bad. I can see a little honeycombing but only at certain light angles. Even though I can get inside, I’m not going to try to remove a panel because the top is covered in frost. It’s 28 degrees out here.

8) Black interior does indeed have the MOLLE panels on the back of the seats, which is a big plus for me. There are no mismatched seats like we’ve seen on a few posts.

9) First Edition stickers look to be very slightly crooked. Shouldn’t matter since I’m going to be mounting Bronco Depot retro badges in gloss black.

I think that just about covers it. Cell signal isn’t that great up here, so I’ll upload pictures when I get home.

14 Days. It was delivered to SAC 10 days after. I picked her up this afternoon.
Saw the pictures......looks sharp. I check their Facebook page multiple times a day looking for pictures of arrivals to see if mine is there.

John will promptly email you when it arrives. They were great to work with and no surprises. I was there less than an hour.

Still crickets, another week and I'm looking at alternates.

On another note already have build and arrival dates for my wife's new cayenne. About 25 personal vehicles and 150+ plus fleet, unless the bronco is here by Dec 15th this will be our last Ford.

Happy Thanksgiving folks!

I have waited 500 days,
And it could be 500 more,
I swear when I reach a 1000 days,
I'm calling Levine's mom a *****

Not before you pay her... LOL. There's a different word for her when she's been working for free, and I wasn't thinking Volunteer.
