Is there a way to make it default to Sport Mode?

Does forscan allow disabling of auto start/stop?

Is there a way to turn off the annoying seatbelt notification when someone unlocks their seatbelt?

Sorry, I'm aware of forscan but don't know a whole lot of its capabilities.
No way to make it the default mode yet. If it hasn’t been done on other vehicles in the past I would say it’s not coming either. Just a guess.

Yes, you can turn off auto stop with Forscan. Not in a conventional way but I believe by tricking it to think you’re having a “steering event”.

yes you can turn off seatbelt chimes. Check the other thread in this sub forum for details. There’s a master spreadsheet that details what can be done so far.

There are 8 total GOAT modes available, and different trims get different modes. The Base trim, for example, only has 5 GOAT modes, BB/BD/OBX get 6 GOAT modes, and both Badlands and Wildtrak get 7 GOAT modes.

It was assumed previously that there was a technical limitation that prevented the Bronco from having more than 7 modes, and we had assumed Ford opted to remove Sport mode from the Badlands trim to ensure it only had 7 modes. Makes sense, because theoretically Baja mode and Sport mode would be similar.

BUT we know now there isn't a technical limitation, it was just a software lock.
Saving all 8 for Braptor perhaps?

Baja mode to black diamond?
Can anyone confirm this can be done? Sick of my order getting jumped and would drop to BD if it can.

Thanks to all who figured this out - now I can move on from the hideous interior of the WT especially since I lost AMB and Rap Red as options (at least it was tolerable with those colors) Not thrilled with the orange stitching and chicklets of the Badlands, but the all black interior and gray trim inside will mate up much nicer in my now Carbonized gray rig. So I'm switching to BL, getting my capable bumper and will be happier with my interior - getting Sport Mode was key to making this switch - so thanks. None of this will mean anything in a year when I can actually order my Braptor but at least I'll have a more marketable rig when that time comes.

Sure!

I'm still waiting for my new OBD-II adapter (my current one doesn't work on newer vehicles) to arrive... and then I'm going to see if my buddy is willing to do it on his Bronco (Black Diamond) first—see if I can unlock Baja mode for him. Would rather at least go through the process a few times on a Bronco that is owned by someone I know before I work on a stranger's Bronco. ;) My original plan was to experiment on my Bronco and post tutorials online for the wider community... but... I don't have mine yet... so SOL on that front for the moment.

Also... my buddy's brother happens to work for a Ford dealership and has access to FDRS. So if something goes horribly wrong and I unintentionally screw something up that cannot be fixed in FORScan, he can always reset it to factory for us.
Update! I just added sport mode. Sooo easy!

I would like to know more about this too. I was able to use all the various camera modes in my BMW when unlocking the programming for it using a comparable system. TBH, I would like to have the option to use any of the camera views while in normal mode instead of switching to one of the GOAT Modes, which not all of them allow either. Even if it kept it under a certain speed.

Brice and D2dhanover, thank you for all of this information. This thread finally pushed me over the edge from being an outside reader to a member. Please take pride in that fact!

I spent the last week learning FORScan and watching tutorials. I should receive my Badlands next summer (just about to order it) and look forward to putting my rookie skills to work. I'm sure I'll need help!

I look forward to any updates to the master spreadsheet. Is that something you would post here?

Cheers.

I received my connector on Thursday, downloaded the software this afternoon and within a few minutes I had sport mode! It’s a lot of fun. Thank you all for making this happen!

Still not at this time. I have a general idea of what it takes to do but executing it is rather hard. There are still people working on it with F-150 as well.
Thanks for the update. I am sure conquering this issue in the new F150 will make it so much easier for Broncos too. I just got my cable today so am ready to tackle this myself!

I read the post title to my wife across the room. She gave me a look like...

Then said, without missing a beat, "You know you're circumcised, right?"

I about died.
Hahahahahaha
