After some tweets with @mrlevine, (which didn't reveal anything), I just got a DM from @Ford and the "social media specialist" offered to look into the reservation. I gave her my information and she replied today that my "order has been pending an update for the past few weeks. I will be escalating this case to our specialized Vehicle Reservation team. A representative will reach out to you in the near future to assist you with the situation. Your case number is XXXXX. For direct assistance contact Marketing Program Headquarters at 800-334-4375."

I don't know what has happened. But I am increasingly thinking that if you are still stuck on Dirt Mountain, something has gone wrong and you would be wise to start intervening directly with Ford.

I wonder if some Broncos are sitting in that parking lot - being left behind because of glitch in some system, until someone says where is Bronco number XXX.

I’m calling tomorrow and escalating to a case #.

Made that same call yesterday. Don't expect to hear back. I also did it a couple months back, they never called. Not to discourage you any more, if that's even possible. Just reality check. Hold onto your hopes and don't let them fly.

I was just reading about another 2.7 liter engine with valve issues that just shut off on the highway and now this guy is waiting on Ford to replace his engine. Do you think this is really what we are on Dirt Mountain for? If the 4drs and the soft tops that are left are all 2.7 liter engines then it would all make sense.

I have a 2.7 liter engine. To the other 31 people, please reply to this post what engine you have.

Btw don’t be too aggressive with your dealer. Ford escalation dept for Bronco told me today that dealers are allowed to cancel people’s orders if their customers are being mean/abusive etc. (can’t recall the actual word she said).

This week is my eta end date and I can't wait to finally drive my rig home where it belongs (after hitting every mud holes in between my dealership and my driveway of course). On that note, here are my first mods I'm planning to install. Of course there's other stuff not on the picture such as the 42" led bar, led pods, new wheels, sound bar, etc...BUT the reason of this post is to give a big big BIIIIGGGG thank you/shoutout to the one and only @Papa Smurf , gentleman extraordinire and great human being. With his help, I might have one of the few, or THE only Canadian Rig with a Bad Bronco logo on. Words can't describe how happy I was to lose our wagger my friend ( I love those stickers)!!. I'm grateful to be a part of this community, you guys are the best

That’s the standard reply. I’ve called all over Ford and have been “escalated” multiple times in an attempt to get some real info and clarification on the airbag recall timeframe. I thought once “escalated” that maybe I’d be getting somewhere, but all that’ll happen is someone from Ford CS will call back and give you this same BS, scripted response, despite the fact that you tell them the dealer has no info because Ford hasn’t provided any to them. When pressed on when my dealer could expect it, they hang up. Terrific customer service there.

And my dealer can't find anything out either. In fact they commented it's the worst Communications they've ever had from Ford on a customer order.

My dirt mountain bronco is finally home! It’s been stuck there since beginning of July. Base 2.7 with Sasquatch. Thanks Ford for making my dream come true! Also, I would like to thanks all the bronco6g members that has helped turning this forum into a family/support group. And lastly, a shout-out to Bob Utter Ford in Sherman Texas for keeping the discount price that we both agreed to. Honest small town dealership!

There is a subtle difference between aggressive and assertive. Not getting reasonable answers and/or being outright lied to is also an unacceptable practice; and should be called out. They'll probably cancel my order anyway... which given the engine serial number might be a blessing in disguise!

@CO-Bronco I think you’ll need to put me back on the DM list. Fuck I’m pissed.

So it’s been 16 days since I got the built email so I call my dealer to check what they know as all my sources (trackers, Aem link, etc) show awaiting shipment and I have no airbag recall, my modules are all updated, my 2.7 engine was built in June (not April as those are the bad valve ones) so nothing appears a reason to hold this up. I ask the dealer to pull the vehicle visibility report and they look and tell me “hmm, looks like your Bronco is built. But um, it shows that your Bronco is not “released for shipment“ and being held“. And my Bronco has been in that status since the day I got my built email.

So why the F send me a built email, lead me on and give me a ’track your Bronco’ link that says “Your Bronco has been built and we are arranging shipme to to your dealer. This step could take a few days to a week“ when both are straight up lies. I don’t understand why they just can’t tell us the truth. It’s one thing if I knew they were working on it but I knows it’s just parked with zero urgency to get it completed, all the while cranking out hundred of new Broncos with all the parts my Bronco might need while mine sits. Not looking for sympathy, juts sharing my frustration.

This is absolutely heartbreaking to hear. Unfortunately I believe this is the same thing that has happened to @Missy_Fussy (unless something has changed on your end Mel).

I'll sadly be putting you back to "In-Production" on the tracker.

That Bad Bronco badge is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Loving the license plate as well!

With that being said, my French is a bit rusty, but does "Je me souviens" translate to "I Remember". Yet another sign to never forget the origin story of your Bronco and how it came to be
