Maybe I misunderstood you. Your post makes it seem they assemble all the chassis and body then it takes a week to make it through to the marriage of body/chassis then on to trim/final. It’s much sooner than this, bodyshop has a 1-2 day lead ahead of the other depts. It takes 1-2 days from start to finish to build a bronco, not a week.

I didn't read this as this is done a week before, I read it as "during the week" that can be 1-7 days before, engine still gets mounted, suspension, brake lines, etc.. lots of little stuff going on there before it's mated to the body or as the vernacular says "blended"

And I got nada. But I’m a 10/30 (expectation is mid next week to be honest) so I wasn’t expecting much this morning. Day by day

Well my built email arrived at 3:15 this morning, modules popped at 9:15 last night.

Finally! I received my window sticker.

Ford sent an email saying I was bumped from 10/25 to 11/1. My dealer said I was still showing as 10/25. When I woke up this morning the tracker changed to In Production and I had a window sticker. So my dealer was right . . . barely.

Blend date of 11/4. Starting to get excited again.

My Modules are live as of this morning. Pizza tracker still says in prod but est delivery says 11/16. No email yet. How exciting!

Nice. I get my maintenance done there. Didn’t buy from them though. Tried getting a Raptor from them for ‘21 and the salesman first said no ADM, we never charge over msrp which I quipped are you sure about that. He inquired at that little booth in the corner then came back and said, I guess we are asking for a couple thousand over, still interested.

Hmm... They have been absolutely awesome to me.... Agreed to price, I have emails and a signed DORA by me and the GM. This will be my second vehicle this year from them as well... ordered an F150 and had a fantastic experience there as well. But kept me updated the entire time... nothing but good things to say about them.

I think because of the shortages and rarity of the F-150 Raptors, they’re just being up front about getting extra $$$. I prefer a dealer telling me up front at the start like they did. I think they were asking 5-7k over. Not outrageous and they were honest.
My backup to the Bronco is still getting a F250 Tremor from them if Priority Ford pulls any last second shenanigans

“during the week before your "blend date" the body of your vehicle is produced(built) and sent to the paint department.”

The whole premise of my conversation with motor city is that he says the body and chassis are built a week BEFORE it goes to trim.
