2 door delays

Hey guys I have a question. So I ordered a 2 door big bend sasquatch. It was going to get built on June 21st
Then it got delayed to August 2nd.
Then August 23rd
Then August 30th
Then September 27th
Then October 23rd
Then November 8th
Then November 15th
Then november 29th

I know about the whole hard top issue and chip shortage thing but I'm just wondering, anyone who ordered a 2 door that was given a build date, have you been delayed this many times? I know alot of you dont even have build dates yet so I guess I'm lucky but at this point having a build date holds zero meaning when the delay it this many times.

Also am I going to get pushed back to 2022? I imagine they will stop production on the 2021s soon.

I just discovered this forum so give me your take. Should I hold on to the order or just say screw it and cancel, cause I'm seeing 2 doors on the road and wondering what the deal with mine is.

I’ve been scheduled to 6-7 specific days along with 10-11 weeks. So yes. 2 door Badlands 7mt lux package with tow. Initially received my vin on April 20.

I have a 2-door base with a blend date of 7/21, and the build date was 10/18. You must have some super fun options to play with. I'd say just hang in there. Does not hurt to make an additional order, but you might want to keep your place in line.

You have a VIN so you will be receiving a 2021. Last week of MY21 production is 12/6

Just be happy your getting a 2021. Lots of us with day 1 reservations have nothing to show for it.

This is kind of weird seeing as you were originally scheduled in June. I'm assuming that your reservation was pretty early since you originally got scheduled for production before mine. Most people still waiting on production didn't receive a build date that early and have late (not in the first couple days) reservations or other restraints (I believe Lux and Tow were both restrained at one point).

I have a 2door Black Diamond on order, no sas but the rest of the build should be similar enough to yours that it should have faced the same commodity restraints that your build would have. I reserved July 13 but reservation went through as July 14 early morning.
Ordered on Jan 28.
Scheduled for production week of July 12.
Pushed back to Aug 9.
Pushed back to Aug 16.
Pushed up to Aug 9.
In production Aug 12.

At that point, the MIC top issues came to light and they stopped production. Been in dirt mountain ever since with top replacement scheduled for November sometime.

If the chat confirms that your build is still being pushed, maybe they can look into why that is happening. I was going to guess air bag recall, but that should only apply to Broncos already built. And the MIC top issues shouldn't be the reason because if it was, you would be sitting in dirt mountain with the rest of us.

Any chance you were prioritized by your dealer?

I ask because most of the builds scheduled for that week were priority orders. It was also around this time that there was massive upheaval about the priority orders and then suddenly all those priority orders got rescheduled.
