Happy to say I'm joining the Race Red club on Wednesday.

When order banks open, I'm converting a reservation to an order for a 4D, Wildtrak, Lux, Hardtop, tow. All the constraints I know, but that's what we want.

Wanted it in Rapid Red but that went away for '22. After seeing a Wildtrak in the Race Red, very happy with that choice of color. I borrowed Benzo520's pic for my avatar till I get mine. Have already started purchasing accessories for it and located a pair of factory rock rails too. Going with the ADD winch bumper also. Enjoy exploring on our own so need a way to self recover if the need arises. Now the wait begins!!!

After two months of having it bone stock, it was time to stuff some 35's under it! Specs and notes below!

2021 Bronco Big Bend 4 Dr Mid Pack
2" Zone Lift
35x12.50R18 Falken Wildpeak AT3W's
18x9 -12mm Offset Fuel Octanes

Does it rub? YES. It rubs on both front and back crash bars on front wheels, I am thinking because of the -12mm offset. I looked at all the forums, all Zone's documents and figured the 35's would fit but they rub JUST over a full rotation of the steering wheel. Crash bars coming off and will be much better to drive.
Overall the Zone lift is a nice lift. The -12mm wheels stick out a good amount. They look GREAT and give it a very mean stance, however, I am in Ontario and the poke is not legal. Sasquatch Flares most likely going on.

VERY happy with how it turned out. If you have any questions, please let me know! Happy to answer any questions I can.

Placed my order for a Race Red Base 2-dr ManSquatch today. Hope to join the club sometime in 2022. I am a Day 4 reservation holder although at this point I don’t think that means to much.
love all the pics. Please keep them coming.

Happy to say that I’m officially a member of the Race Red and Two Door clubs. Picked up my non-SAS Big Bend from Two Rivers Ford in Nashville on Saturday. Shout out to Matthew, Jay, and Carl at the dealership, who made the purchase super easy and definitely worth the two hour drive.

They also connected me with fellow forum member @Greenbrick,
who graciously sold me his takeoff FE tires and wheels. Thank you, sir, for the great deal and vintage stripe inspiration!

I ended up deciding that 33’s were a better fit for my taste on the smaller two door wheelbase, here’s the final result. I’m very pleased with the outcome!

No lift or other modifications were required.

Hey everyone! Just uploaded a video to YouTube of the work I have done to the Bronco. Since the last time I posted, I have painted the Grille Black and have put on Sasquatch Fender flares. Let me know what you all think!

The reds look fantastic. Not sure why they would get rid of rapid red as this red looks like the new red. Race red is one of the better colours.

So, I finally took delivery yesterday, so I figured I would post my impressions. These are in no particular order.
1. The 2.3 has plenty of power, especially on the low end. Yes, the 2.7 would be better but, if your looking to save money, the 2.3 is more than enough to keep you happy.
2. The stereo system is not near as bad as others have made it out to be. The quality is pretty poor, but the volume is more than adequate.
3. The noise from the soft tip is minimal to none. I experienced zero noise around town and very minimal noise at highway speeds.
4. Taking off the soft top was very easy and only took about 5 minutes on my first attempt. Putting it on is another story. It took me about 30 minutes just because if you don't do it in a particular order, you have to start over. Im sure this will get easire with practice.
5. The ride is smooth as silk.
6. It is very roomy. Somehow, ford has made this vehicle feel as roomy as the F150, at least up front. The back seats aren't near as roomy as a supercrew, but definitely more spacious than the tacoma I traded in.
7. You feel at home very quickly. In my prior new vehicles, it took several days to weeks of driving before I got used to the feel of everything. 5 minutes behind the wheel of the bronco and I already felt at home.
8. I drove about 220 miles yesterday, mostly highway with a little city mixed in. I'm averaging 21.5mpg.

A couple weeks ago, I told my wife that after taking delivery, I planned to try to sale it for a huge profit like so many others have done. I have completely abandoned that idea. I guess when you take the year long anticipation and add the complete lack of disappointment and that "at home" feeling, it completely changes your perspective. Call me crazy, but I wouldn't sale this this for 100k lol. Hopefully it continues to impress and we have many years together. Can't wait to get it off road.

Upgrades coming soon!

I dig on that retro stripe decal! I'm joining the Race Red crew today, order in for 2D Badlands 2.3 non-squatch in RR. Looking into a similar retro hood and door stripe that is orange, red and white "sunset" colors for a complete 1970's decal mod for heading up the mountain. It will be a looonggg time before I see mine, but I'll watch the Race Red Bronco thread to keep my spirits up! Any idea how many Race Red Broncos are out there compared to the other colors?

Not that many! I think I saw the stats that Race Reds are much less than 10% of the orders. Believe it or not!

Congrats! Will you be planning to go with bigger tires, down the road? If so, I would like to hear if the 2.3 is still a solid performer. That's the main reason I went with the 2.7. I am anxiously awaiting my Race Red OBX that was built back in July. It is currently on a train en route.

I'm planning on going to 33's or maybe 35's in the coming weeks. I haven't decided yet. I think the 4.46 gears in the black diamond will make pushing 35's much easier.

Is this the Maxlider stripe or another company? Mind telling me the color? Maxlider has 3 different grayish colors and it's hard to tell the difference. This may be the gunmetal option?

Yes. This is the Maxlider vintage stripe in matte black. In the sun it does look more gray and in the shade more black. I think it fits very well with the MIC top and trim.

Awesome. Thanks. In the sun in the pics, it REALLY looks gray. Very nice look.
