I want my truck today, I've waited so many years now.

You are going to love this.....Can't stand not being to track it anymore, is it at the dealer? Airport parking lot? On a truck? Driving me crazy having to rely on the dealership for info.
Is mine lost too? Your car number was ttgx 973514?You are going to love this.....
Turns out that we were on the same car (finally got a copy of the visibility report). So my salesman, who I like a lot, offers to go out and drive it to the lot for me today. Apparently something he has done before. However, the rail yard guys claim it isn’t there. They can’t find it and have no record of the VIN. What in the ever living FU**********?!?
Yup, same car. Don’t know about lost.Is mine lost too? Your car number was ttgx 973514?
Sure was on the same, wonder why they can't find it? Should be somewhere near mine one would think.Yup, same car. Don’t know about lost.

Not sure what is true and what is bullshit, but he says that on the ground they don’t use the rail car number for tracking. They use the VIN. And they don’t even have those numbers at the yard until the cars are offloaded and physically logged. So, sometimes they are behind at the yard. In other words, we are in some weird purgatory until they are logged. My guy is going to call first thing in the AM and drive over if they have it.You are going to love this.....

Wish mine would do stuff like that for me. All I get is we will call you when it is ready and we have an available time for you to come get it. Not really screaming we want your business there. Not sure what is true and what is bullshit, but he says that on the ground they don’t use the rail car number for tracking. They use the VIN. Eh, mine has been no pleasure cruise. The salesman is great…the rest of the dealership is not.Wish mine would do stuff like that for me. All I get is we will call you when it is ready and we have an available time for you to come get it. Not really screaming we want your business there.
Agreed, and the other explanation certainly makes sense too. I do know they have to physically inspect them for shipping damage before handing it off to another transport. I was hoping against hope for today. Also, I am leaving town for 5 days, so it is either by Wed of this week or not until next week.Probably nothing to worry about. I've not seen any data on the trucking company site for a while now. I think if anything they're having issues with their systems.
I thought someone had posted before that this railyard (Pearland) didn’t allow dealers to pick up from them. That the normal Railyard for Ford was at another location with UP and they allowed dealers to pick up. I know there was questions about why they are coming into the Pearland railyard with BNSF instead...do y’all remember any of this info? It was over a month ago it was discussed. You are going to love this.....
