Some insite from when we tracked ours.
No the dealership may not have the rail car#. Mine did not show the rail car# the place that it should have showed it seconday status was just blank. I was only lucky to be able to track it because ashley did get a rail car #.
the ford tracking system seemes to only update once a day. For the location. It also seemed once it got to pearland the ford system did not update anymore and was stuck in the last location it updated the day before.
We used CSX to track it all the way to pearland.
CSX was almost updated to the minute.
Once it got to pearland it sat in the car for almost a week.
it will say that the car is moved i to costmor location or something like that when they start unloading it.
it then took another few days for ours to get on a truck and get to tomball. Ashleys moved faster but she is in pearland.
and if I am right we lost access to the truck website? That sucks
For what ever reason the dealerships can not go get vehicles from this lot. If it was the one hardy they can. So if your dealer says they cant just go get it that does not seem to be a lie.
it does not take days to prep them once at the dealership. We and others have picked them up within hours of it showing up at the dealership.
We have a meet set up for middle of October down in sugarland. So hope to see these broncos there!
