🛠 9/6/21 Build Week Group

I'm feeling like those of us who didn't get modules last week, won't this week either.
Are we about to get Bronco'd?

Really hoping I'm wrong and our trucks are finished, just waiting QC and module testing.

I think this is obviously best case. Someone on here mentioned that they didn't think production was behind so possible our Broncos are built and just haven't gone through the necessary testing for modules. One can hope.

I hope!...do you have evidence for you optimism? Not trying to be an a$$. There just seems to other dooms day threads that give me pause.

Hope this is case for our 9/6 build week folks. Gotta think they finished the week on scheduled builds with 9/13 week builds getting pushed back. Makes most sense.

I wonder if these factory workers know how much a crap ton people are keenly aware of their work schedule, production, and environment. I also wonder how it affects their work performance. As in, are they more productive knowing so many eyes are on them, or do they cave under the scrutiny? It would suck to learn our enthusiasm has been—in part—the author of our own frustration and misery…

well, I’m 19 out of 893 (blend date 09/09) and I don’t have a built email and looking at the previous group ..they all took about 2 business days to get their “built” status after their blend date.

This might be semantics but does 'in production' actually mean that pieces of your vehicle are physically on the assembly line already? If that is the case then I am more optimistic I guess.

If it makes the most sense, then I assume it is not what was done. What indication has there been that A. Ford does the thing that makes sense, and/or B. That modules would have magically stopped populating on 9/10 about halfway through the 9/8 builds?

I honestly can’t wait to get my ride, but this launch has been an unmitigated disaster. Some of it based on obvious constraints beyond Ford’s control, but they have also not done much to help themselves. Sincerely hope that our builds are complete (I would LOVE to wrong here!), but I am not expecting that.

im trying to stay positive here, i would think they finished the weeks scheduling they just didnt get all the emails out because of inspection bottlenecks modules could be installed but not tested if they are found but no numbers logged yet on the as built site, one of the other threads here said they were replacing mic tops off site and bringing them over for final inspection, that could cause a bit of a delay but i dont think they would be shutting down the main production

I hear ya and don’t disagree with sentiment on launch. Just trying to get some positive vibes going for 9/6 team hoping for best.

Depends, there are 3 crews at MAP, Morning, afternoon ( 4 day work week) and then the crew that has an alternating schedule

if it was the morning crew that just does the modules then you have your answer
