Reservation program ends for the Bronco - No NEW Reservations

Most of us here have been waiting at least that long. I'm one of the lucky ones and have a vin for a 2dr, been pushed 3 times and not surprised by any fuckery from ford.... Hopefully by Thanksgiving /Xmas... Of this year of course.... Maybe

Yep. I came up with 11 months because that will put me at 2 years since I placed the reservation.
(I was stupid and debated for a couple weeks before pulling the trigger.)

You might be on to something. Maybe there is a Bronco fairy and we have to supply something in trade for her/him.

I wonder if they will even follow the reservation scheme for the rest of us that didn't get their reserved Broncos. I really suspect it will be completely up to the dealer where your order fits in. I thought that initially from when I put my order in. It seemed like it was only an order and the reservation had nothing to do with it. The dealer never noted the reservation and it just seemed like a random order to me. This is why If I follow through and re-order I won't expect it until late 2022 at best or more likely 2023. Looking more at a 2021 Gladiator and have to wonder how many others are buying the competition as a result of Ford not being able to get the Bronco to market to meet demand.

Ford has your reservation time and date . Dealer didn't need to input anything regarding it

Based on all the posts about build delays, dealer shenanery, damaged in transport, error codes during the first few days of ownership, commodity shortages, top issues both soft and hard (THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID!), and whatever else I've missed on the forums or forgot to mention here, *MY* reservations about owning a new Bronco have just begun...

So I am new to this vehicle ordering thing. It goes against everything I was ever taught about buying a vehicle. Can someone explain the code 99 thing?

So for those of us reservation holders that want to order a bronco, but wanted to wait for a model year 22 bronco, our dealers submitted a generic blank order with a priority code number of 99. This lets Ford know we are waiting for MY22 ordering options to be available before we customize our orders.

why would someone who has a reservation wait this long before placing their order? what were you reserving? why not just simply go to the dealer and order the vehicle? i did not get a reservation, but i simply went to my local dealer and put down about 20% and placed my order. they printed out an order summary with a 10 priority code and told me my order was placed. i see all these people with their 99 priority codes which means they did not order their car, why? 190,000 reservations? well, how many of these are actual orders?

I reserved in March, I was told to put in my order ASAP as actual orders trumped reservation dates, I did March 15th.
My order is a Bastard with MIC, 2-door, 2.7 etc. so I'm hoping for an early 2022 build.
I was contacted in June and told if I changed to a 4 door soft top I'd have my Bronco by the end of July. I have second guessed my decision to stay with the 2 door MIC but I'm in it for the long haul now.

This news comes as a surprise when I just heard from a buddy that his company is taking over processing for Ford's reservation program. This transition would be the first step to get Ford to in a more direct to consumer system...

At this point, what does it matter? Reservation or not, you're going to be waiting a long time if you haven't ordered yet (or even if you have ordered). I have a reservation and will order when my dealer says order banks are open and then I expect to wait until next Christmas before I MAYBE see my Bronco.

Lol, I love that some people think I’m being serious. I did place another reservation a few days back. I might want a 2 door in a few years when my new Res pops up hahah.
