I know you have little to no control over management decisions since you work in the comms dept
But a 0% finance option would go a long way towards making amends

Interest percentage does nothing for me and for those of us who are paying cash... @Ford Motor Company needs to comes thru and do something with the actual price in the form of a rebate or discount of some sort. I've been sitting on a vin since May and initial build date of June 14th. With my hands tied. Unable to make any changes now to find out that I won't here anything else about my build dates until Oct. Even if things went smoothly, there's no way I'm getting my 21 in 21.

Yes they can, my built last week of 8/15 purchased in 3/16 was new, and very well priced!

Ford needs to set aside chips for every hardtop bronco that will be built in ‘21. I already know once the hard tops are ready, they will continue to push back builds because they don’t have enough chips.

So other commodity restraints aside, does this mean there’s a chance that those of us who did already opt for the soft top might see our MY21 chances increased? Seems to me that the MIC tops stepping out of line create a bit more space for the soft tops. Or am I just seeing what I want to see?!

Just spoke with my dealer, who required a $1k non-refundable deposit.

They are waiving and refunding it for anyone with a bad batch bronco should it arrive and you decide against delivery. So no need for me to cancel and the dealer has made right by me to the best of their abilities.

If my Bad Batch shows up and its obviously been sitting, no loss to refuse delivery. Still annoyed at Ford, but the dealer is doing what they can.

Yes they are! Dealers have them as demo's. Which is BS! Should let 4 dr. wildtrack owners opt in. Dealers can sell there wildtrack soft top in 6 months.

Correct, there are "new" old stock cars sold by dealers, I think 5 "new" 2-year old Vipers were sold in 2019 by dealers.

Us first edition owners might finally get a break. What happened to all the people saying “just because it’s a first edition doesn’t mean first built” well there’s a few Broncos out there but looks like for the most part they’ll be a MY22 while FE is MY21.

Yeah you FE people deserve this. I'll gladly step aside for you richer-and-quicker-to-hit-F5 during the reveal people to get your due Bronco lol

I love that they are stating that it is an appearance issue and doesn’t affect functionality. GTFO with that nonsense. As the crappy exposed seems delaminate there will be water intrusion issues that will affect the functionality, strength, weight, etc.

Even in their Mea Culpa Ford sugar coats the issue.

Apologies if already addressed somewhere here, but thread is moving faster than I can read. Fortunate to have already taken delivery, so they will ship replacement top to my dealer. My question is about the $$ I've already invested tinting the current MIC tops windows? When I saw this announced, I ran to make sure I still had my receipt because I'm usually terrible about tossing them. Luckily it was only done Tuesday, so I made sure it had correct date and stored it safely until needed.
