Job #2 Start Date?

I know with all the scheduling shenanigans I should probably not even think about it but I just can't help but hold out hope that my Bronco might actually get scheduled one day.

I'm a 10:45 PM July 13 reservation Badlands that switched to a soft top when papa Ford last said we should. Been waiting a few weeks to see if that would pay off.

Anyone know (any drummer's) when Job #2 officially begins?

AFAIK, Job #2 is the MY2021 revision that basically has all Broncos built with the rear wiper, washer, and defrost hookups regardless of top (the prep kit build).

According to the June 24th email from Ford, the prep kit install was to start with the September builds:

Free Hardtop Prep Kit - Today we're announcing that all 4-door soft tops, beginning with September production, will include a hardtop prep kit at no additional cost. The prep kit enables you to order a soft top now and purchase a hardtop later. We anticipate that hardtop roofs will be available for purchase in the 2023 calendar year. If you're interested contact your dealer before July 16, 2021.

Understood but that was almost 3 weeks ago Bronco time which is like 3 years normal time!

What I'm round-about asking is does Job #2 Start with scheduling for week of 8/30?

I’m also curious about this. I would think Job #2 started already, but could be mistaken.
