Come on Everyone! even if Jeep comes out with a 16" infotainment screen, independent front and rear suspension with 48" travel, 37" tires, 1200 Watt stereo 15 speakers w/2-12" subs, 6-rear Cup holders and 46 MPG popping corn all the way it is still a Freaking Jeep and we don't want the same old 1946 Jeepity Jeep Jeep Jeep, Beepity Beep Beep beep, Wave Wave Wave wave wave wave, We want a Bronco a 2021 (or) 2022 BRONCO that is different, better looking, more exciting and just plain cool as hell (YA THINK)

It's all gonna start happening Soon

There is no way I am Tapping out there is nothing better out there, it might take a while but we are all gonna be so Happy when it finally Arrives!!!

My SWAG is that it's so close to the '22 order banks opening, and they are so far behind they see no need in changing anything to 99 at this point. Granger will give us a call to re-order after Sept. 13th. But, if you 99 then I would bet that would put you in a '23.
Common sense says Ford expected 99's from a huge number of people towards the end of the MY as they didn't want a built in December 2021 truck delivered in February 2022 instead of maybe a 2022 MY delivered in March 2022, especially with the claimed price freeze. Perhaps it started already and they don't want to deal with dropping numbers of buildible orders at end of MY. The real question is will they let the 99'ers back in instantly or will they force them to wait until the unfinished 2021 MY folks who did not choose to wait are built in 2022 (as 2022 models) or perhaps split the difference and make them wait out the rest of the quarter after they un-99, or the quarter after. Don't forget, Code 99 doesn't mean wait and build a 2022, it means don't build period.

I've also got a 4dr Badlands fully loaded up....just purchased a 2020 Rubicon 3.0 Diesel that's fully loaded up....I will keep my Bronco on order and maybe own both timing is key.... Reservation within the first 4 hours, ordered early February...BL 4dr, MIC, LUX, Leather, BL Wheels, Tow Hitch.....ZERO COMMUNICATIONS from Ford with the exception of bogus emails loaded with excuses.
I was pricing out Diesel Rubicons today too. I have a Diesel Grand Cherokee right now and minus the emissions recall stuff, its been pretty good to me - and you can't beat the mpg, torque and range.

So tempted to get a sports car at this point to pair with my friends STi
Probably the wrong forum to say this in but I was about to pull the trigger on a Civic Type R on Saturday and walk from the Bronco

then my wife has to be all like “you can’t fit two car seats in the back of a civic”

Can’t and shouldn’t are two different things sweetheart

I went to the jeep dealership plenty of times. My 2 door base squatch is now built according to my for dealer. If it wasn't for that then I'd be going for a 2 door Willys or gladiator with manual transmission. I also toy'd on their build and price site a few times. I basically did this with the Toyota Tacoma and Ford Ranger as well. If my Bronco wasn't built and ready to be shipped out then I'd probably given up and gotten something else. Its up to you. Stay the course if you think you will regret it later. I kept telling myself I've waited this long, might as well wait it out and look, my build day was yesterday. Now we will see how fast it gets to me since that group of bad batchers is still waiting. Bummer. I aint in the clear yet.

I do not confuse disappointment with the current situation with a lack of want for the end result.

I would not be here if I did not absolutely want to be one of the first to own a sixth generation Bronco.

I have over a year invested in this Bronco, a culmination of a lifetime of fandom. Am I disappointed at the long wait? Absolutely. Am I disappointed at Ford's handling of the situation? Positively. Is there something else I would rather buy? Of course. I have owned many cars and trucks. Bronco, however, has always been "My" vehicle of choice.

So I wait.

Its crazy seeing what everyone has been through the last year. Im considerably late to the party just reserved last month. Waiting is really not that big of deal for me since I'm in a 19 Ranger. Whenever it happens ill be good. Plus I'm actually glad I didn't get in this since I want all the bugs worked out before I even order mine.

Like many on this forum, I too, really hope that the majority of you cancel your orders. Don't wait another day, it is not worth it. The frustrations and the lies from Ford are driving you crazy. Don't put up with it. Just imagine how good you are going to feel once you cancel your order. The weight will be lifted from your shoulders. You will be able to go to any other dealership and drive off the lot with your new vehicle. How good that will feel. Do it, just do it...

Chances are I won't be seeing my WT for at least another year.

I don't plan on canceling to keep my options open, bit I'm pissed at Ford because I sold my XJ when I was expecting my Bronco this year, and I've lost $6-12k in investments because I pulled my money, to have it ready (stock market was really shaky at the time).

The only thing that has stopped me from buying a Rubicon is I haven't been able to find one with the features I want and with cloth seats.

For me right now it's not about hype or regret. It's about I've been without a vehicle for well over a year because I sold me Dodge Ram last year to get the Bronco and make the reservation. Never thought it would take this long. I don't even have a build date yet. And people who have build dates are being pushed back. I need a vehicle.

I'm pretty sure I'll be happy with a new 2 door Rubicon in place of a Base Sasquatch. On the brightside for about similar money I'll get sway bar disconnect.

Other things I do like about the Jeeps is the styling ie aggressive hood(rubicon), square fenders, expose door fasteners, fender styling, the military styling and most if all the large range of color options. You can go from mild to wild in the color department. I really like Sting Grey.

For the record I haven't canceled my Bronco order and well see what happens. But I can't wait much longer.

If you need a vehicle now just get a beater that'll last you until the bronco gets here. I also have been looking at used 4x4's online. Looks like some can be had for 4k-6k for a decent one. Thats tempting also. Im sure if you go the regular car route there's some beaters out there that can be had for less.

My issue is I already own 3 older open top 4x4s. Which have been lots of fun over the years, but are showing their age. Bronco is supposed to take the place for one of them, used for longer distance travel to off-road sites, camping and fishing trips. Will be a tough call though, if next spring 2022 rolls around, and Bronco is still MIA. :(

yah its a tough decision. What are the 4x4's you have? Seems like you have quite a collection. The 2022 Nissan Frontier looks tempting. I'm originally a Nissan/Datsun enthusiast and this is the first time I'm changing allegiances. If it weren't for the Bronco, I'd probably get the 2022 Frontier or Tacoma for utility reasons and the gladiator has grown on me. Thank God my wait isn't much longer.
