Are you sure? There appear to be 4 on the way to Greenwood Ford in Hollister CA. I can't see the sticker to be sure it's not inappropriately posted orders but....
Fairly sure. The 4 you are talking about are likely customer orders. They're often auto populated in the online sales systems even though they are special orders.

That said, there could be exceptions, but that wouldn't make much sense right now.

A new VIN would have to be issued in that scenario. VINs are specific to model years, so if Ford moves anyone from a MY21 to a MY22, they'll have to cancel the original VIN and issue a new one.
So, if I were you, I'd hold off on getting the new VIN tattoo until you actually take delivery of your Bronco!

This is 2 believable updates in a row! The doom and gloom posts are much more believable.

The person I was texting with was confident at least the Badlands was available for sale. I genuinely hope she was wrong because it was almost exactly my build. Never the less, the fact that they're getting 4 and already have their demo vehicle makes it clear that there is no rhyme or reason to how these things are getting pushed out. My dealer which is HUGE and in a major metro doesn't even have their demo rides yet.

I’ve said this from the beginning. They will rob unused chips that are supposed to be for the Broncos and put them in F150s instead. They make way more money off of pickups than SUVs. It’s just smart business. They won’t tell anyone they’re doing this but check and see which plants are running and which are not.
This cross to my mind, although, I'm not sure if those chips are interchangeable across the F-150 line up. But there is something that I know for sure and it's the fact the Ford will protect the 40 plus year leadership market share on that segment at all cost no matter what.

The CEO that allows to loose that leadership, it will be fired the very next day. That's a fact!

Haven't seen it asked, does Ford have a plan for Broncos built and sitting for the latest 30+ days? They should be sent to lots and allow the customer an option to opt into a 2022. I never signed up for a stale vehicle and even with warranty its going to be a nightmare...

I just want to know - for those that had July build dates with a MIC top (that have now slipped into Sept/early Oct) what is the probability we will get a 2021....or will we continue to slip into 2022.

I recently got out of my family SUV (end of lease extension), and need a replacement by Feb (2nd baby due). Seeing how difficult it is to get a new car, I could either order something else now, and get it in 4 months, or continue to wait on the Bronco. But continuing to get strung along into 2022 would be incredibly frustrating. I think for those in that boat, having some guidance would be very appreciated.

While I do feel for those that haven't be given a VIN, I think the probability of a 2021 is low enough, that it's at least easier to make a decision as to how to configure your stable in the near term.

For me, it's starting to get to the point that i care more about knowing WHEN I will get my bronco, rather than actually receiving it...If that makes sense...I just dont know how to plan around this...sure I could 99 it and plan around something more definitive, but that’s a very tough call to make right now without any guidance
