Whether it means anything may be relative. For those on this thread as 7/19 week blend dates - we started to see Vins around 7/2 and they update every week or so. No changes to our build or ship status though and it appears to be a regular system update by Ford, so for us the change in date does not mean much. If this is the first time the Vin has appeared I thought that meant you were a week or so out of a blend/build date. But with all the issues happening right now there does not appear to be a clear answer as to what will be built over the next few weeks.

The date on the bottom of the window sticker means nothing. My Bronco is built, and shipped. I still get a new date every week (my window sticker says 8/9 now).

Awesome to see some escape holding. In the very least it means something is happening even if it is 1 person walking the lot working on one at a time.

Based on PremierDrums post today, seems, like chips/other commodities are also causing delay. Not to add to @Vinny6G work but I would bet if we also had Lux/High/Mid on the spreadsheet we may see that those with Lux or High are getting held up more due to more chips required. Not sure but a thought.

Clearly this is multifactorial but one thing is for sure: only four door soft tops are being shipped right now based on the info from this and other threads. If you have one of those then at least you have a shot at August shipment.

My order: 2 Door Big Bend, Antimatter Blue, 2.3L, 7spd manual, MIC top, standard package, tow package, Medium Sandstone interior

Reservation date: day 1
Order date:1/29
Build date: 7/21
Rotation: 0318
Current Status: Stuck "in production"

This was asked to @PREMiERdrum on his update this morning and he says any built broncos are not waiting on chips.

To my knowledge, none of the purgatory holds are waiting on chips. MAP hasn't built any Broncos without chips awaiting further installation as other Ford plants have. I've heard of some proposals but nothing that's started yet.



No, emphatically. Hasn't happened, isn't happening, won't happen.
